Comfort food right here in my neighbourhood! [Part I] 🌟

❤️ the fish cutlet from Tom’s Kitchen at Taman Jurong Food Centre! 🐟🍴It’s one of the most popular stalls around. With a beautifully thin, possibly the crispiest batter and moist, tender, flaky fish inside, each bite is absolutely satisfying. 😋

Dropped by Seng House for dinner a few days back to try out their ox tail stew and crispy tentacles. The food was great and their portions were really generous. I also enjoyed their signature sauce!

Finally got to visit Hopscotch! Came on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t too crowded.

Quality of food was great with good portion sizes. Chili lobster pasta was al dente and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Tried the Oriental Duck Pizza and Buah Keluak Infused Beef Stew as well. Their local-inspired fusion dishes definitely nailed the traditional flavors while offering a fresh take. Highly recommend!

The level of creativity, presentation and variety of cocktails is just mind-blowing. Ordered Wish Upon A Lantern and White Sands. Got to write wishes on the lantern paper, and staff came to torch it after. Exquisitely made and such a fun idea. White Sands came with refreshing lychee bubbles and was more of a dessert, than the traditional drink. Loveeed them both. Will definitely be back to try their other signature cocktails!

Ingleside is really a culinary haven for those who are really into the art of dry aging and fermentation. The picanha was insanely tender and juicy and the woodfire made it so smokey. The sourdough bread with spilt pea butter was a super good start to the meal as well. Overall, truely recommend people who want to try something new to head down and give Ingleside a shot!

Pleasant environment for a chill evening. Had the Roasted Duck pizza, Chilli Lobster Linguine and the Pangium Beef.

Pizza was crispy and flavourful. The Chilli Lobster sauce was spicy on point, satisfying yet it doesnt sweat you out. The Pangium Beef was super tender, the meat was so soft that it melts in the mouth!

For the cocktails, my partner and I had the White Sands and the Wish Upon the Lantern. Super intriguting experience, with the White Sands being an edible cocktail and the interesting short "performance" by sending our wishes through burning.

Highly recommended for those who are looking to chill for the evening after a long day of work or over the weekends with friends!

Tried the Claypot Chicken Rice ($19.80) and Double Bacon Smash Burger ($26.80) — both hit the spot! The chicken rice was flavorful with tender meat, loved the house chilli though we wished for more crispy bits. The burger was juicy, with crispy bacon and a soft brioche bun—pricey but so worth it!

For drinks, the Tiramisu Coffee was smooth with a nice coffee kick, while the Peach Tea was light and refreshing. Overall, a great spot for a casual meal with solid flavors!

Laksa Olio ($11.50) features spaghetti, prawns, cherry tomato and edamame in a laksa sauce that is surprisingly flavourful and spicy (but nothing too fiery).

Aglio Olio ($10.50) comes with spaghetti, chicken baby spinach, cherry tomato and mushroom sautéed in garlicky oil. This is pretty decent Aglio Olio - simple and tasty.

Miso Butter ($11.50) comes with spaghetti, chicken, mushroom and cherry tomato tossed in an addictive miso butter sauce. This is pretty special and delicious!

personally still prefer the bread basket they used to serve :") but this was not bad too!
