Excellent steak dinner date! The staple arrived perfectly sliced medium-rare with a gorgeous sear and juicy pink center. It came with flaky sea salt, and a vibrant green chimichurri sauce on the side for that fresh, herby kick. The sautéed mixed mushrooms were loaded with garlic, finished with plenty of shredded cheese and herbs — earthy, buttery, and addictive. Everything looked and tasted top-tier. Intimate plating, great for sharing, and made for a romantic, satisfying night. Highly recommend!

We had the Yellowtail Kingfish Crudo to start, Meadesmoore Cut, Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms as a side and finished off with the Pavlova Flotante.
Every dish was a hit in aesthetics and taste, with the Meadesmoore Cut being the main star that paired nicely with their speciality sauces.
Friendly service and good food. Definitely going back :)

A really nice place that's suitable for a quick weekday dinner or even a weekend date! Loved the sake variety here and they pair very well with the food served!

Great environment for a casual catchup over a couple of drinks. They offer sake sampler (sweet and dry) which allows you to try a range of it! Perfect to go with your dishes and if nothing heavy 😊

Had a great dinner at Meadesmoore — a steakhouse that really delivers, especially if you’re into wagyu and unique cuts. The 32-day dry-aged zabuton was the star for sure: incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with deep, beefy flavour from the dry ageing.

We shared a few plates — the onion & kombu crusted bone marrow was rich and umami-packed, especially on sourdough, and the balsamic mushroom paired beautifully with the steak.

Ended with a pineapple & sticky date turnover, which was sweet and comforting, with the ice cream balancing it out nicely.

Overall, a super satisfying meal — would absolutely come back for that steak alone.

Really enjoyed my time at Meadesmoore. Food was great, service was good and the place looked amazing.

The highlights were definitely the Meadesmoore cut, which consisted of 3 different cuts, and pineapple & sticky date turnover.

Yellowtail Kingfish Crudo - 7/10
Meadesmoore Cut - 8/10
Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms - 7/10
Signature Mac & Cheese - 7/10
Pineapple & Sticky Date Turnover - 9/10
Tiramisu - 8/10

I enjoyed a wonderful, quiet dinner with my partner and it was a pleasant experience that I'll miss.

We tried the Yellowtail Kingfish Crudo, Balsamic Roasted Mushroom and the Signature Mac & Cheese. Like other reviews said, it was definitely worth the try.

The Meadesmoore Cut (500G) gave me a unique experience. It was the first time I tried three different cuts of varying degrees of marbling that offered different flavours and textures.

What I really enjoyed the most was the Pineapple & Sticky Date Turnover. The rum toffee sauce complemented so well with the sticky date turnover that I can't help but crave for more.

Lastly, free water is always a bonus.

Really good steak and ambience, staff was friendly and we had a really good time!

I recently visited Shukuu Izakaya and really enjoyed the experience. The food was consistently good across the board—the oden was warm and comforting, while the garlic fried rice was super fragrant and satisfying. I also loved the unagi with egg, which was rich and well-balanced, and the grilled skewers were nicely done with great flavour. The cheese chips were a standout snack too—crispy, addictive, and perfect to share. Overall, a great spot for casual Japanese comfort food with a cosy izakaya vibe.

The tempura is delicious, with the batter being so light. However, a full meal of tempura dishes lack diversity and can be a bit boring. The restaurant is not ‘part’ of the hotel, so there’s no free parking voucher. Don’t eat too slowly, lest you get a hefty parking charge.
