A small Thai eatery that's relatively cheap, generally mediocre, but this dish was excellent. Although mama noodles are popular, most are average. The magic here was the soup, which was so tasty and balanced, therefore everything else fell into place.
A small Thai eatery that's relatively cheap but surprisingly mediocre.
A small Thai eatery that's relatively cheap but surprisingly mediocre. This is named soft because there's a non-soft version, which is deep-fried. This wasn't as silky as normal and the stingy crab was dry.
First time me and my friend tried Thachang. We were just deciding where to eat around the area, and this was one of the more affordable options!
It's actually so much better than we expected.
Green Curry Pork Patty with Thai Noodle (8.5/10): Really liked the green curry albeit abit spicy for me. Thai Noodle was super silky and smooth, reminds me of Pho noodle? The pork patty was just like meatballs basically. You dip the noodles into the curry and eat it like that (tbh I'm not sure if I was suppose to do that but I liked it). Curry was not too thick but rather milky, if that's what you like. Personally I like my Green Curry like that, though I wished it was a bit thicker. But I highly recommend this dish! Might be even better with crab meat to be honest.
Tom Yum Crab Meat Dry Noodle (8/10): My friend has this. They allow you to pick your own noodle. My friend picked bee hoon thinking it would be thick bee hoon (but it was js the skinny bee hoon). Otherwise, she commented that the dish was good. Crab meat was legit and nice, cracker was decent too and the sambal was nice.
They were both price at $16.90, though do expect service charge. Super worth it with the 1 for 1 voucher!
A small Thai eatery that's relatively cheap but surprisingly mediocre. The shock here was the pig skin was quite tough, which is unacceptable for Thai braised pig leg.
prices here are unbeatable too. sooo good i want to try the phad thai next. tomyum soup and thai milk tea were okay only tho
Both dishes super flavorful. Cabbage nicely fried with garlic, v fragrant. Basil slightly spicy
Still my favourite Thai dish!
Very long never eat what I consider one of Singapore's best pad thai. I'm very picky with this dish hahaha. Still good.
Burpple beyond dish! The omelette was fluffy and crab chunks were thick and generous! Will be back.
Burpple beyond available! This was delicious! Huge chunks of crab and curry was not so spicy.
Basil crab > Basil pork. Generous amount of crab, omelette super creamy.
