It’s been awhile since I lunch at Teppei and this is still one of the most value-for-money chirashi / kaisen don I have had in Singapore. There is a wide range of rice bowls to choose from and the Scallop Kaisendon ($17++) is so good! The scallops are plump and sweet, and the assorted sashimi is tossed in a delicious sauce and very fresh. The portion is really generous and there is seriously so much sashimi per bowl. Each set also comes with tea and miso soup, and there is a free flow stewed radish side that is really good too - think I had 5 plates of this🙈 Definitely still my favourite chirashi place in town!
Famous for its flame-torched Wagyu Beef Bowls, waa is the ultimate spot for a hearty and satisfying meal! Each bite is a burst of flavour that’ll leave you craving more. If you’re a fan of seafood, don’t miss their Mentaiko Salmon Rice Bowl, a must-order that’s both super flavourful and absolutely delicious!
Here’s the best part — with #BurppleBeyond, you can elevate your dining experience with their 3-course set meal, saving you up to $50!

food was amazing!! used the 1 for 1 vouchers for mains and side and it’s super worth!! food tasted really good too!!
Our go-to spot for gyudon that's better than casual options but cheaper than premium ones. How is their beef so fat? My only gripe is always the amount of rice.
Our go-to spot for gyudon that's better than casual options but cheaper than premium ones. I tried fish this time and the large pinkish slab was decent. The onion and extra roe also elevated the meal. I always add foie gras here, which is again relatively value for money. My only gripe is always the amount of rice.
The price has been mark up by additional $5-$10 as compare to normal menu price. Feel cheated
Been here several times. Food here is 10/10.
However, did not appreciate that they have a separate price menu for burpple user without informing us. This menu is priced higher than their normal menu.
Ultimately only saved ~$5 as compared to 2 mains from their original menu.
Ordered the most expensive Wagyu Don on a Saturday. With Burpple, I get the Anago Don free. And I can choose two items of side dishes and pay for only one. I chose Chawanmushi and Miso Soup. Quite a good place for lunch with a partner, using Burpple Beyond.
Check out 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗫! They are a muslim-owned French & Japanese Restaurant, located at Jalan Besar!
Here is what we tried:
-Wild Mushroom Soup
-Unagi Kabayaki Don
-Duck Leg Confit
-Waffles with Ice Cream
-Lychee Mojito Mocktail
-Peach Mojito Mocktail
Generous portions here! And we love the cozy ambience here!

Seriously the last time I came here was so long ago, before COVID time. Today I found the reason to grab my quick meal before a show nearby.
Found out about this stall called the Hokkaido Ramen Ezokura. Went for their tonkotsu ajitama ramen. Flavourful broth with tender meat and soft boiled egg.
Easy fix for a bowl of chirashi. What's funny is that they have a separate pricing menu for those using the Burrple 1 for 1, the prices for it was being jacked up. Strange thou.
WAGYU YAKI UDON ($58) was creamy and umami
