Enjoyed my lunch at One Prawn & Co, tried the dry-aged snapper, prawn bisque ramen, and smoky beans with burrata. Nice ambience and great food!
one of the best prawn bisque evaa
Visited One Prawn & Co and had an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The dishes were not only beautifully plated but packed with flavour and creativity.
Jumbo Tiger Prawns, Sakura Vermouth, Burnt Leek Oil - my personal favourite as the prawns were fresh, juicy and perfectly cooked to perfection. The prawn butter, aioli sauce paired really well with the prawns which made it easy on the palate.
Highly recommend trying out this spot if you are looking for unique seafood dishes :)
Gave this a go after spotting a surprisingly long queue, even though it wasn’t peak hour. Thought it might be something special but I didn’t quite vibe with it. The duck was on the tougher side and had a gamey flavour I couldn’t get past. The braise sauce looked promising but tasted surprisingly light with just a mild herbal note. The variety’s decent but nothing really stood out. Queue moved slowly too, which made the whole experience feel a bit underwhelming. Maybe it’s a comfort pick for regulars but I’d probably look elsewhere next time.

Plump, freshly made wantons sitting in a well-balanced mix of chilli oil and vinegar which was more sour than spicy but in a good way. The tang hits first then the heat creeps in gently with a satisfying kick. Skin was silky, filling was juicy and honestly, its value for money. Could easily snack on this on its own. There was a queue on a weekend noon but it’s worth the wait 》$6.50
Went with a friend for lunch and we got the 2 person set. While everything was good, the halibut burger and cheesecake were the stars. Despite being deceivingly simple, both were full of taste and really satisfying! We sat at the counter right next to the open kitchen and enjoyed being able to watch the food being made in front of us!
tried their tasting menu for dinner and was super blown away by the quality of the food and the service of all their staff!
standouts of the night for me were the prawn toast, octopus, jumbo tiger prawns, and aged kingfish loin. while the freshness of the seafood really made the food shine, the condiments really helped elevate the dishes! all elements tied together perfectly to make a fantastic meal. ☺️
• prawn toast and aioli: crispy, umami, juicy — super yummy! everything on it made it a perfect bite. the aioli was one of the best i’ve ever tried!
• octopus, assam pedas hummus, renkon chips: personally a huge fan of octopus, and the fresh tentacle made for the most tender and flavourful dish. i never knew assam pedas hummus would go so well with octopus!
• jumbo tiger prawns, sakura vermouth, burnt leek oil: the biggest, juiciest prawns i’ve ever had. grilled to perfection, served with the most amazing combination on sauces. the leek oil, while mild, provided a fantastic flavour nonetheless!
• 16 days dry-aged kingfish loin with green goddess: my favourite dish of the night. they served half with green goddess and the other without, and i can’t seem to pick which one i prefer. never knew fish could have such a rich flavour. the fattiness provided the creamiest of textures, and the simplicity of the entire dish helped make the fish stand out even more. i don’t think i’ve felt so upset about finishing a plate of food in a long time!
i could taste the love and care put in for each dish, and enjoyed learning about the love one prawn and co’s owner has for food. the card given to us at the end was, while unexpected, a welcome and pleasant surprise that we treasured a lot! 💌
service-wise, staff members were very attentive to our needs and requests, and we had a great experience as we felt like we were in good hands :-)
highly recommended for people seeking out delicious new flavours and fresh, good quality ingredients! ⭐️ we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
The ambience, food, and service were phenomenal at One Prawn and Co- my personal faves were the jumbo tiger prawns, and the dry-aged kingfish loin. I would 100% go back with my other friends and family!
Had an incredible dining experience at One Prawn & Co! The 7-course tasting menu is a masterclass in seafood.
• Oysters with Lime Cheek – Fresh and perfectly grilled, giving a subtle smoky note that balance perfectly with the bright zesty lime. A fantastic start!
• Prawn Toast with Aioli – Crispy, golden, and flavorful. The aioli added a creamy punch that elevated this classic.
• Okra, Togarashi, Bonito Dressing – Light, umami-packed, with just the right amount of spice. A refreshing palate cleanser.
• Octopus with Assam Pedas Hummus & Renton Chips – Tender, smoky octopus with a bold, tangy hummus. The chips added a satisfying crunch.
• 16-Day Dry-aged Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess – Melt-in-your-mouth kingfish with fresh, herbaceous dressing. Absolutely exquisite.
• Jumbo Tiger Prawns with Sakura Vermouth & Burnt Leek Oil – The star of the show. Juicy, sweet prawns with a smoky, savory finish.
• Burnt Toast Ice Cream Sandwich, Banana Crumbs & Mint – A fun, playful dessert that’s sweet, smoky, and refreshing all at once.
The service is exceptional – the chef-owner personally checked in on tables and ensured every dish was served at its best. The staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel special and well taken care of.
Every course is thoughtfully crafted, with a beautiful balance of textures and flavors. The plating is stunning, and the seafood truly shines. Highly recommend for seafood lovers or anyone looking for a refined, memorable meal!
Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 – Outstanding culinary journey from start to finish, with top-notch service to match!
Had an awesome dining experience at One Prawn & Co! The menu is a masterclass in seafood.
Ostra Regal Oysters with Lime Cheek – icy-fresh, briny, a zesty pop. It was a refreshing start!
Prawn Toast with Aioli – shatter-golden crisp, rich, addictively flavorful. The aioli provided a creamy punch that elevated the whole experience.
Okra, Togarashi with Bonito Dressing – umami bombed with a rich spicy lift.
Octopus with Assam Pedas Hummus & Renton Chips – tender, smoky yet non spicy, tangy; the chips added a satisfying big tasty crunch.
16-Day Dry-aged Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess /the Star of the show-silky, deeply savory sweet. The herbaceous dressing—absolutely exquisite, the showstopper.
Jumbo Tiger Prawns with Sakura Vermouth & Burnt Leek Oil – juicy-sweet prawns with a smoky, savory finish.
Burnt Toast Ice Cream Sandwich, Banana Crumbs & Mint – A delightful dessert that’s sweet and the burnt banana crumbs made it uniquely tasty, refreshing all at once.
The Cocktail 吊花姐: A gorgeous pour, spirits and berry notes in perfect balance—dangerously sippable
Service is ace: chef-owner Gwyneth checks in; team’s warm, sharp, and on it. Stunning plating, tuned flavors, zero misses. Book it—5/5.
I had their seafood themed 8 course meal that was an such incredible experience every dish.
Starting off with the oyster, we ordered it grilled but there was an option of raw also. It came with a slice of lime, for you to squeeze on your own preferred amount. The sauce was sweet, savoury, sour and paired off really well with the umami from the oyster. Really whetted my appetite right from the get go!
The prawn toast was the best rendition I have had. The bread was really crispy but not greasy, the prawn paste had good 'Q' texture and flavour, and the fried sesame added some crisp and a little sesame fragrance to round out the dish. It was a really remarkable dish and I found myself wanting seconds!
The jumbo prawns was so plump, juicy, tasted so fresh and amazing when paired with the sauce. I think it was prawn or lobster bisque based sauce and it just amplifies the prawnness to the max! Every bite was just so satisfying and with five huge jumbo prawns the portion was quite filling. I would have licked the plate clean if not for the fact that I was seated in front of the chefs. I could see why the restaurant is named 'one prawn & co', their prawn dishes are just so remarkable!
The dessert was also incredible to end with. Burnt toast icecream with banana crumbs and mint leaves. Ice cream was rich and creamy, with crispy thin wafers to support it, like a super atas ice cream cart wafer sandwich. Brown banana crumbs give further complexity, texture and fragrance to the icecream. A mint leaf is added on to the end of each sandwich, which brings a minty, refreshing scent to the last bite. This lightens the dish so you get the pleasant finish from the dessert but not feel cloying from the rich creamy sweet icecream. Just amazing.
I received a card from the chef owner herself, where she talked about her vision for the food. The vision really carried through the course meal, the bounties of the sea paired with the meticulous craft of the chefs really brought a transformative experience for this dinner. Just a 10/10 experience where the staff, chef, and food impressed me in ways I did not know before.
I also highly recommend sitting at the counter, you do not have to interact with the chefs if you want, but you get to see their craft upfront and that is such an experience! The visuals and smells of the different kinds of food being cooked is simply too tantalising. My mouth could not stop watering and even though the 8 course meal was satisfying, I was really tempted to try all the other kinds of delicious foods as they were prepared (sourdough bread, lobster soup, steaks, just looked and smelled so good!)
We ordered the eight-course set meal, and the grilled oyster stood out with its appetising, slightly tangy sauce that made for a refreshing start. The prawn toast was also enjoyable, with bouncy prawn paste and perfectly crunchy toast. The seafood dishes were excellently cooked, and the use of different sauces really complemented their textures and flavours. The meal ended on a nostalgic note with delightful ice cream sandwiches.
