The Fireline Dinner was a thoughtfully curated meal, with beautifully presented dishes. We started with the hamachi tartare before moving on to the smoky prawn toast, which we absolutely loved—the crispy crunch paired so well with the pickled red onions. The standout for me was definitely the charcoal-grilled prawns, perfectly cooked and drenched in a sauce so good we kept going back for more. Second favourite of the night had to be the woodfire-scorched hor fun with seared scallops—the beautiful wok hei and punchy umami flavours really stole the show.
perfect place for a date night / anniversary. Recommend trying the prawn ramen and prawn toast. Bro the prawn head is easy to remove 5/5 juicy prawn YUMMS
Desserts wise i love their chocolate tart with ice cream, it’s on the thicker side so I love it.
Had a really enjoyable set lunch at One Prawn & Co located in the beautiful and vibrant enclave of New Bahru. Very impressed by the food quality, fresh ingredients and overall value.
For about $60 per person (2 diners), we had:
• Smoky Kombu Prawn Toast
• Bang Bang Salmon Tartare
• Prawn Bisque Ramen
• Holy Halibut Burger
• Smoked Valrhona Caraibe Chocolate Tart
• Creme Brulee Cheesecake
The set also includes in-house bubble teas, and I topped up just $5 for a Pinot Noir pairing — such good value.
Everything was thoughtfully prepared, flavours were on point, and the overall dining experience felt premium yet very affordable. Definitely a place I’ll visit again when near New Bahru.
enjoyed our dinner here last week! every dish is a hit, gin sour is great too. will be back to try again!
We got the set menu and I cannot stop raving about how good this is!! The color of the food is vibrant and each bite of the dish had this wokhey taste to it. They cook their dishes over the charcoal and the dishes really embody the smokiness. A big plus point is that there is no smell of the charcoal at all in the restaurant. A 10/10 experience
Lovely dinner here and the service / hospitality was so memorable (shoutout to Desmond for being such a good host!)
Personal favourites are the Woodfire Scorched Hor Fun, and the Malt Black, which added a good balance of heavy and light flavours to end off our meal. Smoky Prawn Toast makes for a good appetiser to start off the meal too.
Visited for lunch and ordered the "First Dip", a set lunch for 2. Portion sizes were extremely filling, yet did not skimp on quality. Personal favourites would be the Prawn Bisque Ramen, which came with 3 huge prawns, that were really sweet, and the Mango Monsoon drink.
Visited One Prawn and Co and ordered the lunch set for 2 pax. For starters we were served smoky kombu prawn toast and salmon tartare. The prawn toast was crunchy and filled with prawn paste. I really enjoyed the tangy dipping sauce that came with it as well.
For mains we had prawn bisque ramen and the halibut burger. The prawn bisque ramen was definitely the highlight for me! The broth was flavourful and came with huge juicy prawns.
We had the chocolate tart and creme brûlée cheesecake for dessert which was the perfect end to the meal. Overall we had a great experience and would come back again to try other dishes!
Had an amazing dinner with a friend here where we had the fireline tasting menu (7 dishes + drink). It was fantastic!!! Lovely place and great dishes for a dinner date.
Standouts for me were the seafood dishes: Prawn platter was delicious and grilled so well. The sauce is so savoury. The woodfire scorched hor fun had seared scallops and was perfectly charred…Smoky prawn toast was both crisp and flavourful. We wiped the plates. 🤣
I enjoyed the attention to detail in these dishes and I had a lovely evening here, I felt well taken care of and would come back especially for that prawn platter (it was divine).
Visited One Prawn & Co on a hot Wednesday for lunch, and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was stunning, perfect for a date spot without feeling overly formal or pretentious.
I went with the First Dip Set Meal, as recommended by the friendly staff. The food arrived quickly, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious.
The highlights for me were the “Bang Bang Salmon Tartare” and the “Crème Brûlée Cheesecake.” The tartare paired beautifully with the crackers, delivering a fresh and satisfying bite, while the cheesecake was rich, indulgent, and the perfect way to end the meal.
The drinks were equally refreshing, which was especially appreciated on such a blisteringly hot day.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience. 10/10, would definitely recommend.
Crunchy pear and ice cream not too sweet
