Have been a One Prawn fan since its humble days as a prawn noodle shop! Their fine dining upgrade did not disappoint, but most importantly, the same amazing quality was retained for their signature Jumbo Tiger Prawns! All other seafood were very fresh too, while the aged Kingfish was eye-opening! 10/10 recommendation 💯
Lovely experience and enjoyed every single dish that was served! The okra dish was a pleasant surprise, not an okra fan myself but cleared the plate! Highlight was definitely the jumbo tiger prawns that were delectable and juicy! Will be back again for sure!
($9.90) i just realised tat poulet and bird avenue is sister brand lol. u choose between pepper or brown sauce for chicken steak. the grilled chicken steak was using frozen steak but the meat look very red colour? I understand that bc of convenience method. But then its quite char on the side of the chicken and at least not that hard and soft texture.
Enjoyed an incredible 8-course dinner prepared live right in front of me at the open kitchen countertop. It was such a treat to watch the chefs in action, and every dish was a masterpiece! Staff were polite and attentive to our needs.
For the food, special mention to the octopus with assam pedas, hummus, and renkon chips — bursting with bold, spicy flavours and a perfect balance of textures. The ankimo mousse with love letter and pink peppercorns was another standout, a unique and creative twist combining the crispy love letter with rich, velvety mousse.
The 16-day dry-aged kingfish loin was fresh and thick, and the green sauce likely basil complemented the fish beautifully. And of course, the star of the night, the jumbo tiger prawns, lived up to the restaurant’s reputation perfectly grilled with a lovely char, fresh, succulent, and juicy.
An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish!
Had an amazing meal tonight! Started with the grilled Ostra Regal oyster and lime cheek, the pairing sauce was a perfect balance of tangy and spicy. The prawn toast and alilo were delicious and full of flavour. Moved on to the jumbo tiger prawns with sakura vermouth and burnt leek oil, the prawns were huge, succulent, and juicy. Ended the meal with a burnt toast ice cream, which was the perfect sweet finish. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
We had the set dinner. It was a good choice as the items looked like signature dishes, each having a unique presentation and delectable taste. It was an enjoyable experience.
The menu here oozes with creativity. Every dish was uniquely crafted and meticulously prepared. The crispy prawn toast was an absolute gem for me. The crispiness of the toast and the succulence of the juicy prawn worked wonders.
Had One Prawn & Co's 8-course set dinner was absolutely delicious! 🤤 I especially loved the dry-aged kingfish, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The jumbo tiger prawns were another highlight – perfectly smoky, juicy, and sweet. And the prawn toast was perfectly crisp. 10/10 would visit again
Tucked away in the vibey enclave of New Bahru, One Prawn & Co is a dining spot that really knows how to create an experience. The open-kitchen concept lets you watch the chefs at work, giving the meal an almost omakase-style “atas” vibe that feels both intimate and exciting.
The meal began with a plump, succulent oyster. The chef was kind enough to let us mix things up! One served grilled with Thai chilli for a punchy kick, and another kept chilled and fresh. That thoughtful flexibility set the tone for the rest of the evening.
From the eight-course menu, the standout for me was definitely the 16-day aged fish. something I’ve never quite experienced before.
The cocktails here deserve a shoutout too. They playfully riff on familiar local flavours, like the chng thng cocktail that’s both nostalgic and refreshing, alongside other inventive mixes that keep things fun and surprising.
Went with my partner to try out One Prawn and Co after hearing rave reviews from my friends, and they did not disappoint at all!
We tried the 7 course set, starting off with their oysters and prawn toast and aioli. I wished I had more bread to eat the aioli as it was really delicious!
Another standout dish for me was the Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess. The pairing was superb, and left me wanting more as I devoured the dish.
Their cocktails are also pretty superb! I myself tried the whiskey sour with bonito flakes, which went pretty well together surprisngly!
All in all, I had a wonderful time at One Prawn and Co, and will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes they have to offer!
From Paelah. The waiting time was abt 20min evrmen though there was no queue. The portion is generous. The seafood is really fresh. The tomato sauce in the ricr adds tanginess and make it less jelat.
I recently visited One Prawn & Co at New Bahru for their course menu and it was an amazing experience. From the cosy, chic interior to its comfortable, relaxed vibes, it’s a superb place to unwind and enjoy great food. They truly live up to their name of One Prawn & Co as their jumbo prawn dish was excellent. It was bursting with flavor and simply amazing. The whole course was great, but other great honourable mentions are the dry-aged kingfish and the ice cream dessert. Highly recommend for seafood lovers and anyone wanting a memorable dinner.
