Went for the 20 sticks deal with 20 free sticks so total 40 sticks. Staff was super attentive and friendly, amazing team that is on the ball and delightful. Food is great, liked the different seasoning options. Ordered 2 Highball for $15 (happy hour). Thank you!

Fried in front of you, fish was tender but not the crunchy strongly grilled kind. Overall it's passable but it's forgiven because they have the super smelly shrimp paste that's authentic, lifting this dish out of mediocrity (upon request)

It's really the squid beak muscle.

Choice of 3 styles, grilled garlic and I forgot the last one

Squid beak muscle had a bouncy texture as you would expect. The garlic pork lard mixture with sweetness was smoky and very indulgingly addictive. Super unhealthy but couldn't stop myself

Lovely

It's a passable version, soup is sweet and less spicy alr had some heat. The ham was standard and beef was tough

Served in a cold stone pot, the matcha ice cream with red bean paste sit on a bed of cornflakes. Surprisingly the dessert is a treat as it's not sweet as well~

𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 ($25) - More eggy rendition with good amounts of fresh seafood.

𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐛 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐩 ($35) - One of the better galbitang around with the delicately clean taste, depth of flavour, tender ribs, and sweet daikon.

👍🏼 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐩 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 ($188/ 650g) - Have the meats cooked for you, resulting in perfect done-ness! Quality cuts including juicy and succulent prime ribeye ($68), leaner boneless short ribs ($50), caramelized marinated pork collar ($36), and Kurobuta pork belly ($38).

You may have known about Mr Mookata on the news for bringing Thai hunks over to Singapore last year at Bugis, but failed this year when they try to bring them back for the opening of their latest outlet at Phoenix Park along Tanglin Road. But they are still famous for having hunk appearance to serve you at this new outlet.

I have to acknowledge that the location is not easy to access, which required you to take a bus from nearest MRT station to reach here.

Only a few tables was occupied on Friday evening when we were here to enjoy their buffet.

For only $32.9++ per adult on weekends, you can enjoy all the dishes unlimited but only for maximum 90 mins dining time. Of course please do not waste food or they will charge for additional wastage.

Drinks except milk tea also included with unlimited refilling.

Perfect for any occasions such as birthday celebration. They even have some special service and interaction with the hunks, such as singing birthday song to you.

Burpple Deal : 1 for 1 - 20 sticks
* Choose 10 items , 4 sticks each. Seasoning must be same for the 4 sticks per item .
Service is good, staff patiently explained the deal and answered all our queries well. Food is good, has a warmer provided that kept our food hot for >1h.
Happy hour for drinks till 8pm is a bonus! Frozen Kirin / Guinness / Highball .
Recommended to reserve seat, especially during fri/weekend.
40 sticks total was a little too much for 2 pax, but staff offered to take away the remaining that we couldnt finish.

Shared Set 30 (4 pax) between the 6 of us and we were all surprisingly satisfied with the portion. The set ($169) includes Beef Tripe Hotpot, Dough pieces for the hotpot, Webfoot Octopus Bossam, Steamed egg, a half-half Seafood and Kimchi pancake, as well as 4 bowls of rice.

Starting off with the refillable banchan, the offerings on the day were kimchi, beansprouts, cucumber, and cuttledish (i think...?). All of them were delicious, no need to say any further. There were also the non-refillable banchan which was japchae, some fried fish, and some tofu with kimchi-something. Didn't know what I was eating, but still delicious nonetheless.

For the mains, hotpot was soooo good and actually a very large portion. the server kindly offered to change the beef tripe to pork and octopus when we said we couldn't take beef, kudos to them for not just rejecting us! The hotpot was chockful of meat and veges and turns out we really loved the fresh octopus. The dough pieces also soaked in the flavours of the broth well. Our love for the octopus also carried over to the webfoot octopus bossam - we couldn't wow-ing over the tender octopus in the sweet-spicy sauce. Damn good! Finally, the steamed egg was just average but nicely complemented the other heavier dishes. Had a good time here and would return to try the other sets.
