A new stall at Cantine Food Court caught my eyes!
For 1 week ( 25 Aug to 31 Aug) , it is offering the following as its opening promotion:
Hey! Pepper Rice only at $5.90 (UP $7.90) with FREE seaweed soup.

We ordered the following
Hey! Pepper Angus Sirloin Steak (S$13.90)
Sliced meat, mashed potato, corn, sliced cabbage, edamame, broccoli, and garlic chips, accompanied with rice.

Combo 3-in-1 (beef, salmon & chicken) (S$12.90)
Sliced beef, sliced chicken, sliced salmon, mashed potato, sliced cabbage, corn, edamame, broccoli, and garlic chip, accompanied with rice.

⁠Hey! Curry Cheese Beef (S$9.90)
Tender sliced beef, fried egg, corn, and spring onion, over rice. Accompanied with curry sauce topped with shredded cheese.

The dishes were so yummy that the 2 of us finished the 3 dishes easily. The meat were tender and flavourful. There’s condiments such as garlic soy sauce, chilli flakes, chilli padi, pepper, and pepper sauce available at the counter, should you feel a need for stronger flavours.

Victorian style looking room with grand looking chairs and a fake fireplace. There’s even a stool for a doggie. But the downside was that it was pretty warm and stuffy inside.

Authentic Italian Set Lunch (S$16.90++)
A choice of main between fresh pasta and hand-stretched pizza 12”
Which I selected fresh pasta and for that day it was Tortellini Ricotta Verdi tossed in contemporary pink sauce.

The stuffed pasta was cooked just right, well accompanied in the rich creamy sauce.

Ended the meal with dessert and it was a scoop of gelato which I selected Mango gelato. It was not too sweet.

Accompanied the meal with a choice of drink which I selected hot brewed Italian coffee to peak up me.

The meat was very tender and boneless. Remember give the rice a good mix as the sauce was right in the bottom.
