Switching the base to sushi rice gave the don a firmer bite and a gentle tang that lifted the flavours. The pork belly slices were tender, simmered with onion in a sweet soy sauce that coated each piece with savoury depth and a touch of sweetness. A soft egg rested on top, its yolk melting into the grains to add creaminess and richness. Portion size felt just right for the price, making it a comforting bowl that balanced meat, sauce and rice γ$12.80
($19.90) come w random plush blind bag. Got a variety of raw and cooked sushi.
($6.90) Grilled Eel just got sauce on the top; Steamed Eel come w small slice of lemon (dont really remembered tat I have tried it b4) like quite nice and fresh made.
Kinda like omakase. There's appetisers, sashimi, grilled, simmered, fried and vinegared, but the dishes aren't fixed. So many things that you'll be full lah. Atas spot so the quality is also expected.
Grilled saba, softshell crab tempura, octopus. Atas spot so the quality is expected. The fish was so perfect you wouldn't think it's saba.
