($3) at least got their matcha yuzu cheesecake taste much better than maki lol. hmmm got sour taste from cheesecake while got less bitter taste and lean towards milky texture from matcha mousse.
($3) finally tried their sushi express x matchaya collaboration since Apr 2025. It took me like a month later to try it out :") but then I felt that it was quite gimmicky experience and taste tbh.
($2) at least got their matcha azuki roll cake taste much better than maki lol. got sweet taste from azuki (red bean) while got mild bitter taste from matcha cream. I felt that they put too much matcha powder.
Healthy food can be tasty too! I ordered the warrior beef dry udon. The seasoning for the udon was well-done and the flame-seared beef tender and moist. The combination was a good one. Affordable-priced tasty and healthy meal!
Affordable and tasty don! The beef and salmon were cooked to perfection too.
Sushi Tei is the equivalent of Crystal Jade Kitchen for mid-level Japanese dining in Singapore. Not the best, but reliable quality and reasonable pricing make it a dependable place . We have been loyal customers for 30 years now.
Really delicious and affordable food! The touch of mentaiko to the salmon and itβs smokiness truly compliments the dishes well (the salmon bowl and the chicken skewers) The garlic sauce on the Maki was also extremely flavourful! Pleasant experience! This place is definitely worth a try!

Love the chirashi bowl here! Generous portion or marinated salmon and the sushi rice was cooked well. Enjoyed the inclusion of the creamy avocado and this was a hearty and filling meal.
Tried the Ultimate Warrior Bowl and it truly lives up to its name as the portion was huge! As a salmon lover, I had to try this as they are known for its salmon don(s). The salmon was nicely torched and topped off with mentaiko which is always a good mix as it elevates the salmonβs taste. The japanese rice was also very nicely prepared as it has that subtle sweetness in it which really compliments the salmon! Would recommend if youβre looking for a quick and easy japanese don lunch!
