From Huai Nan Beef Soup. I thought sure good, coming from PRC cuisine. But quite ordinary.

From Huai Nan Beef Soup. Comes with a gigantic rib on top of the usual beef slices. But the price matched it hahaha very expensive. Good but not great broth. The rib added meat but I think it's more a gimmick lah.

From Yumace. Promotion. Surprisingly the fish was huge. Fries also nice.

Medium size here is generous and quite cheap. The veg broth was half the box's height and the chicken was a mound. We hadn't encountered this chicken dish but it tasted similar to kam heong. Full of spices like garlic and ginger. It's like just whack all Chinese spices lor.

The rib meat was inconsistent and the coffee flavour was non-existent. But I loved the sotong. It's bite-sized and very soft, pairing well with the coating.

A common dish at zichar stalls but here the tofu is steamed with no skin. Bland until almost fail, until I tasted the topping. I think it's fried chye por and ba chor. Damn umami sia.

From Ban Mian . Fish Soup
Only $5 for added noodles.
Not bad, will return for it.

I had to eat this again to avenge my previous meal. Much better, but wasted, I ordered wrongly. I wanted the Folks Favourite, which is loaded, but I thought it's called Signature, which is simpler. In the end I added the awesome fried wanton.

Instead of proper diced chicken, nearly half of it was just crispy chicken skin. It feel more like a crunchy filler than a satisfying dish. While the flavours were alright, it didn’t feel worth the price for what was essentially a skin-heavy dish rather than the hearty, meaty bite I expected 》$13.80

Nothing fancy, just an average bowl of MXG that gets the job done. The medium spice level brings warmth without overwhelming, making it a reliable choice when a quick mala fix is all I need 》$21

My first mediocre Li Xin. Their famous noodles just weren't seasoned correctly. The balance of chilli and ketchup was off.

Juicy sausage paired with a golden-brown rösti, topped with a sunny side up for extra richness. The mushroom sauce adds depth, while the sour cream keeps things light and refreshing. A crispier rösti would’ve made it even better but still a cozy and comforting meal 》$9.90
