Bustling atmosphere at a very quiet industrial area with mostly tourists, but as a local I can say that the food here is really top tier. They do the classic zichar dishes, but the taste is really better than what you can find in your usual neighbourhood cofeeshops. These were what we got:
- Fried meesua ($8.80 for small). Portion is unexpectedly big and really filling, enough for 2 pax to share. They also don't skimp on the ingredients, and taste was good too.
- Fuyong Egg ($10.80 for small). Basically fried egg with sliced veges within (e.g., onions, cabbages, carrots). Pretty standard but was delicious too.
- Sliced fish soup ($10.80 for small). SO SO GOOD! Their fish soup leans towards the milky side with a strong huadiao wine flavour - damn slurpable! Fresh fish slices too but the star is really the soup. MUST TRY!
- Cereal prawns ($27.80 for small). 7 pieces of large prawns submerged in cereal bits. Prawns were fresh and had a nice bounce, and the cereal bits lent a nice, sweet crunch to every bite. But felt it was too dry after a few bites and nothing really special about it. Can skip.
- Three egg spinach ($15.80 for small). Their rendition of the classic chinese dish was surprisingly delicious, with the gravy leaning towards the stickier side. This was excellent. Recommended.

Service was quick and friendly, and some of the staff are able to speak in English to cater to tourists. However, a turn-off was the multitude of birds roaming around the outdoor area, as the disposal bins were placed right beside the tables. Perhaps the location of these bins could be looked into, so that diners would not be so bothered by those pests. Otherwise, great food and still at a largely-affordable price, perfect for gatherings!

Note: Don't forget to make a reservation in advance! We just strolled right to our tables. Don't just walk-in during peak dinner period, you'll have a higher likelihood of being told to wait for 30min or more.

Take away to be consumed in office. Deshelled chilli crab is delicious , and not messy. The pork is flavourful but a bit tough.

Served in a claypot, this laksa stays warm and comforting till the last bite. The rich, lemak broth clings perfectly to silky thick bee hoon, while juicy prawns, shredded chicken and fresh cockles add layers of flavour. Tau pok soaks up all that creamy, spicy goodness and a spoonful of sambal brings just the right kick. Despite the short queue, service was a bit on the slower side 》$8 / Large

The sturdy skin holds up just right, giving way to a comforting burst of warm, soupy goodness. The pork filling is flavourful without being too rich, keeping things light yet satisfying.

Not the most refined XLB, but it definitely delivers. Best enjoyed piping hot with vinegar and ginger 》$6

Soft, plump dumplings draped in fragrant chilli oil that’s more aromatic than numbing. The heat creeps in just right, lifted by a hint of tang for balance. Inside, the pork filling stays juicy and packed with flavour, while that chilli oil delivers just enough kick to keep things exciting 》$7

The al-dente squid ink tagliatelle has just the right bite, complemented by tender crab meat and bursts of juicy cherry tomatoes. A bright, tangy sauce ties it all together, delivering a fresh and well-balanced finish that keeps each forkful delightful 》$28

Had a splendid dinner here last Wednesday with my friend ! The food was served promptly and they were all really delicious (: we got the sweet and sour pork, shrimp paste fried wings, and a brinjal dish cooked with minced meat & fish served with rice + Taiwan porridge, definitely recommend trying these ! would also come back for more in the future !

ordered the iced black and iced white from anagram and it was alright for the price, the iced white was too milky imo. the male staff was quite black-faced for some reason throughout but overall, the cafe aesthetics were rlly pretty & not bad to stop by if around the area for 1-for-1.

They have a variety of interesting cocktails worth trying, goes well with a simple burger!

They offer interesting cocktails at very reasonable price. I enjoyed the wagyu burger. Nice place, quiet with good ambience.
