Feel like prices are rising but I guess it's only expected

From top left, counterclockwise, and from mild to strong

The goat cheese has a bit of alcohol taste, but otherwise very mild and easy to eat. The alcoholic taste goes away after a while

Baron bigod is special. It's brie but with this particular flavour, it's hard to describe but I'd say it tastes like "openness" to me

Black garlic la bouse is very up my alley, super strong umami from the garlic, it's a flavour bomb

Won't comment on the truffle la bouse cos I hate truffle

Props to them for getting their hands on belper knolle, I got it in Austria (jumi kase, for anyone who's going) and loved it.

The comte-like cheese was pretty good. It's 24months so not completely dry yet, but there's alr salt crystals and the flavour was good

The next hard cheese was fine, didn't particularly leave an impression

The last one, lazuli, is an absolute joy. As described, the texture really was quite similar to cheesecake ( for a blue), strong umami, and not too funky. Stellar!

Oat White 3/5
White 3/5
Chai Latte 4/5
Cookie 3/5

ordered the iced black and iced white from anagram and it was alright for the price, the iced white was too milky imo. the male staff was quite black-faced for some reason throughout but overall, the cafe aesthetics were rlly pretty & not bad to stop by if around the area for 1-for-1.

[QUEENSTOWN, SINGAPORE] One look at this coffee and I know it's gonna be good 😋 finally been to this small but aesthetic cafe that serves up pretty quality brew!

Their Iced Latte ☕ ($7) had a good chocolate caramel flavour with hints of fragrant maple which I liked 😍 it's quite a big cup and I thoroughly enjoyed it till the last drop. The Iced Black ☕ ($6.50) was different, as it was smooth with a light tartness. Not too acidic as well. Definitely refreshing!

What's even better is that it's available 1 for 1 on #burpplebeyond. This is a coffee I can imagine myself getting if I work around the area. As seats are quite limited, maybe it's better to come and order take away!

Creamier Gelato has always been a standout for me. They offer a wide array of unique flavors that you won’t typically find at most gelato shops. Every time I visit Creamier, I feel like a kid in a candy store, overwhelmed by the incredible variety and unsure which amazing flavor to choose.

My go-to favorites are usually:
- Almond Butterscotch
- Pulut Hitam
- Roasted Pistachio
- Blue Pea Vanilla

Each flavor is a delightful experience, making Creamier a must-visit for any gelato lover!

[QUEENSTOWN, SINGAPORE] If you are looking for coffee just after a great feast at Alexandra Village Hawker Centre, you now know where to go! @rookies.coffee is a humble coffee shop nestled within the bustling neighbourhood and they serve up great quality coffee 😍

I got their Iced Black ($6) which was very fruity, so much so that I thought I was drinking fruit juice! It was very smooth as well and totally refreshing!

There aren't many seats around, so do take note if you are coming with a big group. I do love the cute stickers and posters around the place which added to the chill vibe 😍 (P.S.... they have other interesting coffee drinks as well which I wanna try out next time!)

Went for the teatime set, $58 net total for 3people

Grew up eating the soup vermicelli version and haven’t had this in probably almost a decade? But my tastebuds have morphed and I love my fishball noodles with Mee pok, dry, spicy, and super vinegary. And Xin Lu gives me just that. The sauciness of the noodles is impeccable, but what was equally impressive was the fresh and bouncy fishballs.

Can't rmb what I loved about it but this is quite a textbook blue, and quite blue it was (if you've never had blue you won't be able to accept)

4 year Gouda: Huge crystals, almost sandgrain-sized. It's a little bit diff from normal Gouda but again didn't rlly change my mind.

Surfin blu: the ale washing gives the exterior crazy complexity, each bite was a different note. Can clearly taste the stitching of the blue and the buffalo mozz, some parts are much stronger than others.

Abe rot: not much flavour, the texture is actl not bad but way too smelly, it's really really bad

A bit of crystals, flavour was good and for this type of cheese it's pretty good. But if you don't like this kind of dry semihard cheese like me it's not gg to change your mind.

Chili la bouse: The chili really works incredibly well w the slightly funky gooey cheese

Belper knolle jung: super soft, crumbly and a tad sour well complemented by the spice crust outside, for a tad of heat

Aarewasser: I think this is as good as this type of cheese gets. Very smooth and soft and with stickiness at the back of the throat. Flavour was pleasant too
