Their new ala carte buffet. I can't remember encountering this variety of pasta. Interesting approach, cream pasta topped with tomato sauce. I'm not a fan of tomato pasta but I applaud the freshness. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

Their new ala carte buffet. This dish their skills truly came out. I loved it. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

Their new ala carte buffet. This is topped with truffle cream. Nice though it's more solid than liquid. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

Their new ala carte buffet. They use grass-fed striploin, together with handcrafted fries and a very interesting brandy peppercorn sauce. My medium-done steak was poor, maybe I should've gone medium rare. But the fries were top. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

Their new ala carte buffet. This came with duck fat potato sarladaise, spring vegetables, l’orange sauce. The duck had decent flavour but not the tenderness of other duck confits I've had, and neither the crispy skin, so I definitely expected better. My other thought is French cuisine is very rich to be buffet, and I couldn't eat as much as I wanted!

📍Flock Cafe (Tiong Bahru)
- Shakshuka 沙卡蔬卡🍅
- Fish & Chips 炸魚薯條🐟
- Ginger Beer 薑汁啤酒🥤
- Flat White 馥芮白☕️

Shakshuka was not bad, tangy tomato goes really well with the oozing egg yolk and sourdough.

As for the fish & chips, usual stuff, normal, good for sharing.

Flat white was not bad too, nutty finish, and cute doggie latte art.

Overall, a cosy cafe to have brunch, chill and hang out with friend.

Damage: $52.60 (CDC vouchers accepted)

($17.80) I did passby this cafe before (probably in the past) the sourdough was quite crispy and crunchy to dip with tomato sauce inside shakshuka. But the tomato sauce was quite sour and not that spicy taste.

This dish really lives up to the name, stacked high with smashed avo, smoked salmon, streaky bacon, tiger prawn, wild mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and crunchy seeds. Loved the mix of textures. It’s creamy, crisp, juicy and a little smoky. The sourdough was nicely toasted and held up well under all that goodness. Pea sprouts and yoghurt dressing added a fresh, tangy lift. Colourful, hearty and a good mix of wholesome flavours 》$28

Smoky-sweet BBQ pork tucked into a soft brioche bun with crunchy slaw and tangy charred cucumber. The curly fries added that crunch, while the fresh lettuce on the side kept things balanced. Messy but satisfying 》$29

The crust was soft with a bit of char, chewy in the middle and best eaten hot. Toppings were generous with tiger prawns, scallops, cherry tomatoes, plus a creamy mix of mozzarella and mascarpone that gave it a rich but balanced flavour.

The pesto dip in the middle adds freshness and herby notes that kept the pizza from feeling too heavy. Loved dunking the crust into it 》$30
