This Basque Cheesecake is smooth, rich, and everything you’d want in a slice. The beautifully burnt top brings a touch of bitterness and caramelised depth, perfectly balancing the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth center. It’s soft and custardy, indulgent but never too heavy.
Each bite is dense yet silky, with a subtle tang that keeps it from leaning too sweet. Served with a dollop of light, fluffy whipped cream, it ties the whole thing together effortlessly. Simple, satisfying, and totally worth every forkful 》RM22

This Yuri Matcha Basque Cheesecake is a decadent fusion of bold Japanese matcha and the toasty, caramelised edges of a classic Basque cheesecake. The matcha brings an earthy depth without overwhelming, perfectly balanced by the smooth, slightly tangy cheese base that melts effortlessly in every bite.
It’s served with a cloud of fluffy whipped cream, adding a touch of lightness that lifts the richer flavours and rounds everything out beautifully. If you’re a fan of matcha, this one’s a no-brainer 》RM23
Rich flavour of cheese cake that has the charcoal flavour all over it.
Nikko & Yoryo is a cafe chain that has opened aka few outlets in different states, including Melaka, Johor and Kuala Lumpur.
There’s 2 outlets here at Johor, with one located at Taman Sutera Utama. Love their cosy space with Instagrammable spot.
Went for their charcoal latte, which still rich with the coffee taste and milk; added with charcoal hint in the flavour.
This Japanese restaurant hidden at one of the condo developments at Bukit Jalil, specialise for their mix and match Ichijusansai meal. Which you get to choose one main dish and two side dishes.
Lots of options to choose from. In my case, I went for this grilled sweet white miso-marinated flatfish. Love the texture and the taste.
Pairing my grilled fish with cold handmade tamagoyaki and hot agedashi tofu.
The Gasket Alley is one of the popular hangout spots for many people in Petaling Jaya, and many would come here to grab their meal at this ramen shop.
What makes this place interesting is that you can customise the flavour of the broth up to 3 flavours.
These flavours includes black garlic, spicy and curry; which would make the broth tastes very rich.
The yakibuta is the kind of pork meat that’s very tender to enjoy.
This is a good Halal place to bring your Muslim friends for some decent sushi and other Japanese foods.
I gotten the inari tempura sushi, salmon mentai sushi, ebi mentai sushi and egg mayo sushi.
Nippon Sushi is a Japanese chain in Malaysia that has opened their outlets across the country. They are also a Halal restaurant.
Looking for something more staple to go with the sushi? I would recommend getting dishes like the rice, ramen, udon or soba.
The simple warm udon would be this that comes with seaweed. I find the warm soup was too sweet for me. But the udon texture is great.
Other than the famous jap cuisine Wazen in Malacca, this is also not bad. Unfortunately the unagi i had that day was very rubbery. Maybe bad batch? #sushi #japanese #cuisine #food #malacca #malaysia
