If you comes in group or family, then I definitely recommend you to go with this big size of pizza with four flavours on the top.
There’s teriyaki unagi, spicy seafood, peperoni and BBQ chicken.
This one is much better with the taste stronger for the pesto, as well as the accompanyed grilled chicken on the top.
Hide at the basement of Prangin Mall, the popular mall at the heart of George Town. Pizzaiola is a big Italian restaurant with plenty of seats catered for big groups.
But I do want to warn you that the portion for the spaghetti could be very small for big group, more a portion for individual only.
Nothing much to say for their Chicken Bolognese Spgahetti. The taste is pretty ordinary.
Chill
Its a hole in a wall in Ampang pasta place. It’s non halal and it serves pork but they separate the cooking. So if you are not fussy you can give them a try.
Lo and behold.! If you are looking for something that doesn’t have carbonara or marinara pasta on the menu this is the place to be. Aposto is a nice little neighborhood restaurant that will make you feel welcome. They hand made their pasta everyday and their staff is friendly and welcoming.
Used to love this place. But as of recent visit the pizza was a little pale and it looks a little undone..looks like the usual servers and kitchen staff are not the same anymore..
Panna Cotta da 💣
La Risata has held their fort in Ampang for over two decades, and the quality of this Italian restaurant has never failed us. The space is cosy, sporting exposed brick walls and warm lighting suited for an intimate dinner with a few friends. Skip the process of sifting through their very varied menu and go for these top dishes that our Burpple community loves. Though simple in presentation, the Ravioli Di Pesce (salmon ravioli, RM28) wins us over everytime. Each pasta pocket boasts a slippery, al-dente texture and smothered in a tasty creamy sauce. For those who prefer rice, there is the Risotto Nero Con Calamari Ripeni (squid ink risotto, RM37) that comes with braised stuffed calamari. The rice is cooked to perfect plumpness, and every black grain bursts with the piquant flavours of squid ink. Before leaving, order the Cannoli (RM16) to share. Sweet ricotta cream encased in a crispy fried pastry shell, this hot-and-cold dessert is a decadent way to end the meal.

This gelato really tastes like the ones I’ve had in Italy! Apparently, their gelato is made by someone who actually went to Italy to learn how to make it.
This is RM10.
Like typical authentic Italian pizzas, they don’t come with a lot of toppings but simple as this. This is topped with a mix of Italian mushrooms. Love it!
This is RM36.
