-Blueberry Roasted Oolong Tea ($8.50+): Many reviews recommended this so we got it to try! Comes with fresh blueberries. It was not as sweet as I expected,
-Iced Matcha Latte: Niko Neyko Yuri Matcha is used here! Felt that the matcha can be stronger though!
Cafehopping in Beauty World Area!
No seat reservations allowed, so we waited awhile to be seated. Here is what we ordered:
-Signature Breakfast ($25+): Huge portion! Recommended to share if you are not a big eater. This is the kinda of big breakfast I love, because there is butter croissant (and not the typical hard toasts). Loved the chicken sausage, sauteed mushrooms and scrambled egg too! There is also turkey ham which I was not a fan of
-Creamy Tom Yum Seafood Pasta ($22+): Creamy, spicy and tangy! Prawns were fresh. Comes with five clams. I felt that the seafood portions given were too little, especially the number of clams? (Also the number of clams differ from what is in their menu photo LOL)

Mikey’s Taverna is a charming Italian eatery that offers an authentic and cozy dining experience. Perfect for a casual dinner or a comforting Italian meal with friends and family, this small restaurant captures the heart of Italian cuisine with its flavorful dishes and warm ambiance.
1. Lasagna
A comforting classic, the lasagna was layered with rich, flavorful ragu, tender lasagna sheets, and creamy béchamel. Every bite was perfectly balanced, making it a standout dish for those seeking authentic Italian comfort food.
2. Oxtail Ragu Rigatoni
The oxtail ragu was another highlight, with braised, shredded oxtail melded seamlessly into a buttery, Parmesan-infused sauce. Tossed with rigatoni, the pasta captured the hearty flavors beautifully. It’s a dish that feels both indulgent and homey.
3. Prosciutto e Funghi Pizza
The pizza boasted a thin, crisp base topped with tomatoes, fior di latte, fresh mushrooms, and delicate slices of prosciutto. The flavors were balanced, and the fresh ingredients elevated this simple yet satisfying dish.
4. Focaccia with Roasted Garlic Butter
A delightful starter, the focaccia was soft yet slightly crisp on the edges, paired with salted browned butter and roasted garlic. The combination was addictive and set the tone for the meal.
Moist and soft if got promotion worth to buy
Ajiya Okonomiyaki is a delightful little gem for Japanese food lovers, especially those with a soft spot for okonomiyaki. Nestled in a cozy yet comfortable space with traditional Japanese decor, the restaurant immediately transports you to Japan, making it a great spot to escape into a little slice of Japan right here in Singapore.
Their okonomiyaki, which you can make yourself or have the attentive staff prepare, stands out as one of the best we’ve tried in the Singapore. The ingredients are fresh, and each bite delivers the right balance of savory flavors with a hint of sweetness, all beautifully combined by the creamy Japanese mayo and tangy okonomiyaki sauce.
For an extra treat, we also tried the Gyutan, or grilled beef tongue, which the staff expertly grilled tableside. It was cooked to perfection, achieving that tender, smoky taste that’s hard to beat. However, the Yakisoba fell a bit short; while decent, it didn’t quite reach the same high standard as the other dishes.
DIY Japanese pancake restaurant where one can try your hand at cooking or leave it to the professionals. We opted for the latter to ensure that it was grilled to perfection but can imagine it might be fun to give it a try yourselves.
Choose your own ingredients for the pancake and we opted for prawn/ taco, smoked duck and shiitake. Sweet-savory mix with generous topping of okonomiyaki sauce, mayo, and umami bonito flakes and seaweed. Crisp exterior with a creamy center of egg, greens, red ginger, and tempura crisps. Preferred the taco over prawn for a chewier textural contrast.
A tad pricey for what it is but enjoyable and authentic experience.

Pretty Rosti with crispy bacon. We sat underneath the tree which was pretty cool. Chill spacious place and it was easy to hold a conversation. We had the 1-for-1 for the espresso based drinks and topped up for ice.
Huge bun and a double patty hiding in the middle. We topped up for ice for the iced latte.
A nice quiet & cozy cafe at bukit timah that is popular for their waffles, more specifically for their savory waffles.
As I was more of a dessert feel when I came during tea time on a lazy weekend, decided to get a sweet and buttery waffles instead. Got a "Fly me to Mars" Waffle. Waffles were crispy and smells so buttery.
Also decided to have 2 smoothies:
1) Bananarama
- Banana, Honey, Milk
2) Gila about Gula
- Gula Melaka, cookie Crumble, Coconut Milk
Both of which was milkilicious and felt so decadent.
Nice quiet environment. Rather popular too, maybe hard to get seats and parking spaces. So be prepared to have a backup plan, if either of which is not forthcoming.

Kids will like this place, my friends have brought their kids here after our visit here.
One of the best Okonomiyaki I ever had in Singapore. We actually ordered a 2nd Okonomiyaki. Yums
- Garlic fried rice was awesome.
- Scallops Mentai were huge and juicy
- other dishes were just fillers, nothing fantastic
End of the day, u are coming here for the Okonomiyaki.
