This dessert features freshly cut watermelon topped with milky shaved ice, watermelon balls, red bean, vanilla ice cream, and a drizzle of condensed milk. While the watermelon was juicy, it lacked sweetness. However, the milky shaved ice was smooth, sweet, and enjoyable, making this dessert a refreshing end to the meal.
Lychee Rita (RM 24)
A Barbican lemon soda drink blended with lychee flavour, this malt beverage is made from the finest barley, offering a delicious and refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Itโs a fizzy, chilled, sweet, and fruity delight.
Ocean Rita (RM 24)
Barbican raspberry soda blended with citrus flavour, this fizzy, bluish drink reminded me of the classic kopitiam blueberry drink. It's refreshing but nothing particularly special.
This mini Korean pancake, packed with crispy shrimp and seafood flavour, was a total disappointment. The pancake was hard, dry, and lacked the expected umami. It was supposed to be chewy with a crisp edge and full of flavour, but this version failed to deliver. The shrimp flavour was almost nonexistent, though the size of the pancake is suitable for small eaters.
Six pieces of juicy, fried boneless chicken thighs dipped in honey butter sauce and topped with lemon slices. The chicken was lip-smacking, leaving a sweet honey stain on your lips after each bite. The pieces were much larger than we anticipated, with tender meat and a crunchy batter. While the honey flavour was prominent, the buttery taste was subtle, making it a decent, though not extraordinary, dish.
This classic Korean army stew is served in a pot, complete with free-flow ramyeon and soup base. The pot is packed with grilled chicken, chicken slices, sausage, chicken luncheon meat, baked beans, enoki mushrooms, leeks, scallions, cheddar cheese, and ramyeon noodles. Itโs a hearty dish that's perfect for sharing. I appreciated that the spicy paste was served separately from the savoury soup base, allowing us to adjust the spice level to our preference. The free-flow noodles made it unexpectedly filling.
K Fry Urban Korean is a popular chain restaurant in Malaysia, known for its hearty Korean cuisine with an urban twist, particularly specialising in Korean Fried Chicken. Here's what we tried:

[JB, MALAYSIA] I think kfry is also familiar with most people, and their cheesy chicken bumbuk really hits the spot!
We got the Mini Cheesy Bumbuk Yangnyeom (RM34.50) and it came with 6 huge chunks of fried chicken tossed in Yangnyeom sauce and a generous plate of cheese! The staff then melted the cheese on the hot plate and wrapped each chicken with it ๐ The chicken is crispy and rather tender and succulent on the side. It has the right amount of sweet, savoury and spicy flavours too! The cheese added another dimension of richness which paired well with the chicken. The only downside is that the chicken does not seem to be marinated long enough, though the sauce on its exterior made up for it.
We also had the Ham Cheese Rice Ball (RM27.90) which came in this enormous bowl ๐ the rice balls were good! It had a good amount of cheese and ham within!
Portions here are really generous and we couldn't finish although we ordered only 2 dishes! I loved how the service here was really attentive, as they did not hesitate to attend to your needs. Definitely coming back!
Am a mega fan of Korean fried chicken, and so thrill to discover @kfrymy K Fry Urban Korean
Very spacious with a casual vibe, brightly-lit area and neon lights section as well. Offering a huge variety of tantalising Korean dishes, including Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Army Stews, Japchae, Korean Pancakes, Bingsoos and more.
Service is excellent, very attentive to surrounding and I like that water is free and comes in a jug, so you donโt need to keep bothering the staff for refills and can get it iced or room temperature.
Japchae.
I REALLY like it. The sauce is flavorful and really hits all the right notes. The sweet potato noodles is deliciously chewy and slippery.
Cant wait to go back soon๐

Spicy Yangnyeom Wing.
Their fried chicken is at its best, crispy on the outside where you get a hit of the spicy yangnyeom sauce and then the juicy tender soft on the inside. Satisfyingly hot and so delicious!

RM56.90 for 10 piece chicken.
"The chicken is the star and it is mind-blowingly delicious. They use boneless chicken thigh which is fried to perfection and incredibly moist and juicy. The chicken is crispy even after being wrapped with the cheese and covered with sauce. A single portion can amply feed 2-3 pax. The cheese also makes the most delicious cheese fries, much better then the artificial Nacho cheese and mayo mixture that fast food fries are topped with. This is the real stuff. And oh boy, it is good 10/10"

Fancy some Korean street food? Try this tteoboki for rm9, it's spicy, sweet and overall a tasty snack.
Crispy on the outside, tender on the Inside, the sauce is just simply superb, a sweet mix that goes well with the savoury insides.
