Throwback post. They're super popular and I can see why. Food is cheap and very authentic. High standard for hawker food.

Set meal comes with a side of Taiwanese popcorn chicken.

The Mee sua here can eat with just the spoon, and taste as good as Ay Chung, which is also served with pig Intestine.

Pop corn chicken also damn good, crispy and well seasoned. Those that once u start eating, cannot stop.

Thats raw chili so go easy. Cucumbers had a bit of heat, pretty interesting.

The braised pork was passable, which is more than can be said for most places, but definitely not worth travelling for

Value set for Braised Pork ($6.80) included marinated cucumber, soft boiled egg and popcorn chicken. Braised Pork is nt that salty or dry, moist gravy and flavour taste. Popcorn Chicken really so good as crispy and crunchy texture that they really outdone it.

Taiwanese popcorn chicken was also crispy on the outside with pretty tender meat that's well-seasoned! Quite an enjoyable one altho I couldn't really finish everything myself 🤭.

This is definitely affordable, comforting and satisfying food that's worth a visit!

Been having Taiwanese food quite a bit recently and I'm still not sick of it! Saw pretty good reviews of this Taiwanese store @wenlitaiwanesefood at Golden Mile Food Centre previously and finally got to try it!

Braised Pork Rice Set ($6.80)
This set comes with Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice ($3.50 ala carte), and Homemade Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken (⅓ Serving), Soft-boiled Egg ($1.50 ala carte).

Oh the sauce was really flavourful, and the braised pork was soft and really easy to eat! Definitely enjoyed this bowl of luroufan 🤤.
