The vibes were on point, with good lighting and good background music! It was so cozy π The staff were very polite and friendly as well, which made the experience even better!
My partner and I were pretty hungry that night, so we got 2 mains, 2 sides and 1 drink π
Firstly, the drink!!! I would come back just for the drink alone. We got the Matcha Dream! It was a matcha latte with sweet potato cream and it was so good. I never thought that sweet potato would complement matcha latte so well!! We almost ordered a second cup but had to control ourselves π
We got the Hainanese Pork Chop and the Duck Confit Gnocchi for our mains. The Pork chop was done so nicely! It was soooo soft yet crispy, and so nostalgic. Everything from the batter of the pork chop to the fries were PERFECT. The duck confit gnocchi was so delicious as well! The meat was so soft which was a perfect pairing with gnocchi!
Lastly, we got mac & cheese and a crabmeat carrot cake for our sides. Mac & cheese had the right amount of salt and the crabmeat carrot cake was so unique. We were pleased with how much crabmeat was served! The wokhey was very prominent and so soft crabmeat paired the soft and bouncy carrot cake well ππ»

Visited Seng House on a weekday night and was impressed by both the cozy ambience and the food. We had the duck confit with gnocchi and asparagus. The duck was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and the gnocchi was surprisingly filling. The Crabmeat Carrot Cake was an absolute highlight, packed with crab, dried shrimp, and crunchy pork lard, all rich with wok hei.
Loved the side of house made chilli oil that added just the right amount of heat. The Mac and Cheese was creamy and indulgent, topped with a perfectly golden crust and fresh chives to cut through the richness. Everything was served in cast iron pans, keeping it warm till the last bite.
To round it off, we tried the Dream Matcha. Smooth matcha paired with sweet potato foam that blended beautifully. Creamy, earthy, and not too sweet.
Had a great visit to Seng House again. Tried the double smash beef burger, and it hit all the right notes β juicy patties with crispy edges, layered with melted cheese and fresh toppings in a soft, toasted bun. Super satisfying and packed with flavor. I also had the matcha latte, which was smooth, earthy, and not too sweet, with a creamy finish that paired really well with the meal. The chill vibe and attentive service make it a solid spot whether youβre here for brunch or a hearty bite.
Chill and cozy atmosphere with attentive service. I had the Hainanese pork chop β tender, juicy, and coated in a nostalgic, tangy sauce with perfectly cooked sides. For dessert, the kopi banana bread with coconut ice cream was a standout β moist, aromatic, and well-balanced. Great spot for comfort food with a twist!
Ordered the double bacon smash burger and it was amazing. The patties were cooked just right, bun was soft and tasty, bacon was crispy, and the greens paired really well overall. Will definitely return.
Had dinner at Seng House, and really enjoyed it. I had the Rustic Duck Confit Gnocchi β the duck was super tender and the gnocchi was soft and flavourful. My partner got the Double Bacon Smash Burger, and it was juicy with just the right amount of crisp from the bacon. They have a good wine selection too. The place is cosy and not too noisy, perfect for a relaxed date night. Would definitely come back.
