Duck confit is crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. Would prefer mashed instead of baby roasted potatoes.
Beef cheeks not a lot. Paired well w beef cheeks. Some meat no fats so abit dry.
Hopscotch was definitely one of the rarer finds i've came across in SG! Walked in and felt like we were transported to another realm, thanks to the charming decor and also the christmas fittings. The server came over to explain the inspiration behind the cocktails we ordered, which made it all the more special. Loved the 'Michael Jackson' cocktail (alcoholic jelly with tau huey cream) that was more like a dessert, definitely a unique experience. The char siu pulled pork rosti ($24) could've been crispier, but overall flavours were on point! Will be back to try their extensive cocktail menu!
Came in on a sunday night and the place was packed with visitors from the nearby gardens by the bay. Server was friendly and guided us through their extensive menu. Settled on the taro ice cream cocktail and the Black garlic bone marrow butter rib eye. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and seasoned just right. Love the steak!!
The cocktail was decently strong but still had hints of sweetness, loved the pairing with the taro mochi giving a different texture. Will be back!

Was at garden by the bay over the week and chanced upon this cocktail bar. Despite being at gbtb, their mains and sides were decently priced, not too expensive for being at a tourist attraction.
I ordered the pork ribs and my partner got steak, and we had Brussels sprouts to share. The steak was cooked just as we liked (medium rare), and the rub on the ribs was really good too. But the best dish was the Brussels sprouts. Boiled then fried, topped with a vinegar dressing, the entire dish really took us by surprise and amazed us!
We tried their cocktails also - and their cocktails are really an experience. My partner got the edible cocktail - i’d say this is stronger than the others, and had an interesting experience of eating shaved ice (like an ice cream) before it melted into a drink. I got the ube one and those who love taro - this is for you. For someone that cant take strong drinks, the alcohol taste was really watered down by the ube ice cream! We couldnt help ourselves but try their gbtb exclusive (cant recall the name but it was above the ube one). It wasnt too strong and had a good mix of floral nodes in it. Best part is it came lit up and served in a glass that resembled the super trees!
Overall, great service and food. Must try is their cocktails!
Visited the branch at Gardens by the Bay, which had a lovely atmosphere.
The food was great, and we were particularly impressed by the Brussel sprouts, which were fried to perfect crispiness and drizzled with honey soy sauce for a nice acidic finish.
However, the restaurant's wow factor were their cocktails. I had the Summer Fling, an edible cocktail inspired by Taiwanese ice jelly and presented in an impressive smoking glass bowl, while my partner had the Heirloom, a cocktail inspired by Hakka abacus seeds and was rich in Taro flavour. The cocktails were so impressive that we also got the branch-specific Garden Rhapsody, a which was served in a lit glass meant to represent the Supertrees that served as the background of our dinner.
Overall, a pleasant experience with good ambience, food and service. Would certainly recommend for a date night or for a family dinner!
