Perfect dish on a hot sweltering day. 😍 I think this dish will be a hit among the office ladies as it's light and healthy.
As for the men, I will highly recommend the truffle beef yakiniku don as its portion is slightly larger than the cold truffle somen.
Yuki Onna is more well-known for its Chirashi Rice Bowls and Truffle Beef Yakiniku. But one bite into this dish and I was completely floored. Chewy, cold somen akin to angel-haired pasta tossed in truffle oil that was fragrant yet not too overpowering — definitely suitable if you're looking for a refreshing bite on a hot day. Paired with fresh scallops, shredded wakame and a smattering of caviar artistically dolloped atop, this is truly simplicity at its finest. Coming from someone who is not a huge truffle fan, you know you're getting the good stuff.
Served refreshingly chilled and throughly tossed in truffle oil, the somen was cooked just nice, topped with fresh sweet slices of hotate (that I hopped was thicker) and a dollop of caviar. It was flavorful and enjoyable though it got a little jelat at the end. Remember to toss them right away when served before the noodles start to stick together. The portion wasn't as small as I expected to be from what I've seen on photos, but not that big enough for a full meal either.

While it gets pretty warm there especially if you're in office wear, the somen comes cold with fresh scallops and a dallop of caviar. This almost felt like the little sister to gunther's well known cold truffle angel hair pasta. Although the portions are tiny relative to what you pay for, its flavourful and very easy on the palate. Definitely a good choice for the occasional lunch splurge. Mmmm🤤
