I ordered the Ginseng Black Chicken Double Boiled Soup. This is the real deal! Soup was flavorful and bursting with ginseng goodness. You can tell from the taste that the herbal soup was brewed from scratch. Service was impeccable and efficient too.

Hot and bubbling turtle soup with a rich broth. Staff here also have thoughtful services as chairs with back support are offered to elderly people.

Found this super tasty thick and not salty herbal soup with a lot of herbs. The yam rice is nice.

Delicious nourishing soup! Would come again

Order the chicken soup with cordeceps, if you want a collagen fix. It was good. Recommend.

For those craving comfort in a bowl, Tan Ser Seng Herbs Restaurant at Aljunied serves up a standout herbal chicken soup that’s nothing short of a remedy for both the body and soul.

The moment the bowl arrived, its aromatic fragrance of herbs filled the air, promising a wholesome dining experience. The broth was the star—clear, yet rich in flavor, with a perfect balance of earthiness from traditional Chinese herbs like dang gui, red dates. It wasn’t overly bitter or medicinal, making it approachable even for first-timers.

The chicken was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with the essence of the herbs. Each bite was satisfying, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. Turtle soup was amazing! The soup also included a handful of nourishing ingredients, such as mushrooms and wolfberries, adding depth and a touch of natural sweetness.

Served with a side of steamed white rice, the meal was both hearty and satisfying. The rice soaked up the flavors of the soup beautifully, making every spoonful a delight.

The stall itself was unassuming, but the friendly service and focus on quality more than made up for its simplicity. Tan Ser Seng Herbs Restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking a healthy, delicious meal packed with traditional flavors. It’s the kind of dish that leaves you feeling refreshed and energized.
