Health Is Wealth

This was surprisingly really filling! Every component of the dish was quite good (mozzarella chicken, scrambled eggs, honey wakame, mesclun salad and couscous), except for the couscous which was too dry. Even their salad dressing was really yummy, and I liked that they offered Honey Wakame as well, which I don't see too often elsewhere.

I loved the ambience of this place too, it isn't too crowded and it felt really airy and warm. With that and the good food that doesn't leave you feeling bad after, I'd definitely love to be back soon!

All that effort into the sous vide salmon was certainly worth it for what I got was a piece of really moist and tender salmon. The roasted vegetables came as a mix of carrots, mushrooms and onions, and it was a nice side though I felt that it was a little salty in some parts. I tried all their dressings too, and they were all really pretty tasty. However, if I had to pick, the peppercorn ponzu would be my top choice for its novelty. I really enjoyed the meal, and it was a great way to eat clean!

Decent selection, and ingredients were generous! Salmon was overcooked, but nicely flavoured. Won't be rushing to come back anytime soon, but a great alternative to the biz/computing canteen!

Wanted a quick, simple and fuss-free dinner before a movie and Maki-san always fits that bill.
Today, I decided to be adventurous and went against the norm of having it wrapped with seaweed but with egg instead (which explains the exotic looking sushi) AND getting the monthly special sauce - the shiok sambal for the month of June.
Both choices rewarded me handsomely. I had my doubts about the shiok sambal because it sounded a little gimmicky to me but it reminded me of a sweet popiah sauce which packed a gentle but apparent heat. The egg wrap I wasn't a fan at first because I noticed it didn't hold my rice & ingredients very well (I suspect cos it's hard to roll with it) but it kinda made it more interesting to eat- somewhat like a Japanese version of a burrito bowl (trust me to think up of all these weird analogies).
So yes, I would say I was on a roll that day (puns 100% intended).This made for a very light dinner, but who's complaining when I'm getting my movie popcorn later?!

At $12, I thought this was really a bowl of great value.
Generous servings of tender chicken (they give you a choice of either breast/thigh/mixed) that was so flavourful that I barely had to add any salad dressing. For the latter, I chose the Ginger Ponzu which was light and refreshing (my friend's first reaction was a brutally honest "eww... ginger?" yet she enjoyed it too) but I actually preferred the Mango Habanero sauce (which I admit may not suit everyone's palate because it's a tad too sweet but I thought it went well with the subtle heat).
Plus points for unconventional ingredients like red quinoa and zucchini and of course.. i'm always a sucker for perfectly soft boiled eggs.

Loved that they had unusual toppings (or what would count as premium ingredients in some salad stalls) including quinoa and onsen egg!
Wafu sauce made such a light & delightful dressing for this protein packed meal.

Generous with some of their ingredients (e.g. the tobiko & the satsifyingly thick salmon chunks) and not so much with the others (e.g. ikura & pineapple). This felt like a fusion take on the chirashi-don, which didn't turn out bad at all! I loved that the lime avocado also helped to cut the richness of the dish. Still not jumping on the poké bowl bandwagon, but I have to admit this was a good bowl.

I like the interesting concept of this place, right down to the design of the menu. This time I may be going nice, but that grilled cheese sandwich sure is making it so tempting to be naughty.

Was disappointed to learn that the customisable bowls are only available for lunch. Although I would still prefer to be able to pick my ingredients, I can't complain much about this bowl.

The Ultimate Poké Bowl was generously filled with various superfood. I loved the combination of the textures, from the crunchy walnuts to the creamy mouthfeel from the avocados. The spicy tuna was definitely much more interesting than the salmon, but unfortunately the taste got alittle too rich for me after awhile. I loved the pineapple bits inside, & wished there were more to cut through the heavier taste of the spicy tuna.

Not the first place I would think of if I ever need a sashimi fix, but a good meal option if you're in the area and want to up your salad game.
