Fu Lin (Clarke Quay)

ive been to other Fu Lin outlets and the menu here was actually really different (and delicious!)
ordered the seafood grill set which includes a lobster, squid, fish and prawn - all grilled to perfection (got the char taste yknow)
iberico pork was also succulent and wonderful although i wished there was more
cozy location in the centre of clarke quay - sad that there are some construction works around at the moment but itll be a great place to chill with friends on a friday night!

This was the highlight for me - unassuming dish with a great pairing sauce. The mash potato is the cherry on top with a creamy texture.

We had the:

Crab Meat and Prawn Fried Rice🦀:

Prawns juicy, crab meat chunky and fried rice tasty, the dish didn’t disappoint and actually gave me a shock😋

Sprinkled w a generous helping of tobiko, u can taste the umami and even a slight wok hei with each bite that makes it pleasant🫶

Wagyu Burger🍔:

Every component of the burger was well done (except the medium rare wagyu patty 🤣) but for real, I was similarly impressed!

Even the buns were so soft and buttered nicely + the fries were served with this sweet chilli relish that had me swooning over it😭

Burrata Cheese🪤:

My preferred appetiser to open the palate with a sweet-sour burst of flavours in the vinaigrette🤩

Snapper Carpaccio🐟:

My lesser favourite of the 2 appetisers, it had a strong pesto flavour but overall still had a slightly overpowering fishy taste that wasn’t too inspiring🤷‍♂️

Pandan Creme Brûlée🍮:

Rly loved the fusion of local pandan flavours, as it complemented the caramelised and slightly burnt taste of the creme brûlée, a happy ending indeed🥰

Molten Lava Cake🍫:

What stood out was the white chocolate that leaked out of the lava cake, that rly got me😳

Very honestly speakings, getting the set saves u a ton of money in tryna order each dish indiv, bc it’s rly not stonks if u want to order one by one💸S

Excellent interior design and ambiance. The staff were courteous and friendly. Every mouthful of the truffle ravioli was savoury. Also, the Firecracker Chicken tasted just like it is called; the batter was crispy, and the level of spice was just right to pack a punch. It is highly recommended to order a glass of wine to make the dinner feel complete. Would definitely return again!
