And any day that I get complimentary CHARACTER macarons from Bonheur Patisserie is an AWESOME 😄👍🏼day! •
Thank you Carline and Weixian! I have been savouring them and I will try to bake my own with your recipe soon!
Irresistible. Sooo Goood. Soooo yummy
giving it a try on its opening day and I must say I was rather disappointed.
the matcha tasted too thick, too blend. at $4.50 for a cone, it should have done some market research before settling on its price.
well a couple flavours to try before deciding on the number of hands it gets. for now, i need this to cool myself off the heat.
A unique combination. 🌈
Found out about this place online after reading a couple of blogs on Heng Hua cuisine, and decided to also try this dish out for its the specialty here. Cod fish was really succulent and had its own bounciness despite being fried and doused in the soup, while the soup base seemed to have absorbed the nourishing ingredients such as Dan Gui, Gou Qi, ginger, seaweed, cabbage etc with a bit of milkiness, while being light and flavourful. Pretty value for money at $25, and they have a pretty cute SG50 deal where they give a squash set (racket and ball with CD tutorial worth $28) for minimum of $50 spent lol.
A heady scent of tea leaves comes through the sponge, with a thick, sticky, slightly crusty chayen icing lending a good amount of sweetness.. Pair with a cuppa and you're ready to conquer
I can't have AquaS for now, when everyone else I know is in Sydney enjoying it ! This will have to do until my next trip down under.
At the bottom lay a thin, crunchy, salt-flecked chocolate pastry disc. Smooth, rich spheres of chocolate ganache stood neatly upon it. Balanced upon them was a second pastry disc, followed an oversized dome of salty caramel and lightest caramel cream. As a finishing touch, crisp dark chocolate encircled and topped that. My admiration lasted for all of two seconds before greed got the better of me.

Been waking up daily with new patches of heat rash and scratch marks. 😞 Can't imagine warmer, drier weather for the next 4 months.
I NEED ICE CREAM! #🍦
Here's hoping that some Eton Mess ($18) will make Mondays slightly sweeter. The combination of strawberries, meringue, hazelnut crunch, salted caramel and devon cream should be able to cure even the dullest Monday. On a side note, the hazelnut crunch kinda reminds me of the peanut candies that is usually very popular during the Chinese New Year season.
