FLUFFY!

Epitome of homemade - inconsistent texture (fluffy and most in some areas, tough and grainy in others), a hint of cocoa rather than a deep chocolate flavour.. But i think there's much to appreciate about the rustic touches.

Makes me miss Germany just a little - mostly for the crisp weather

This was fluffier, spongier and more well-balanced than it looks - that amount of cream cheese frosting tho. Perfect to go with an iced coffee on a hot day.

Take off most of the thick, butter, too-sweet frosting and you're good to go. Love the endless supply of food in the office

A heady scent of tea leaves comes through the sponge, with a thick, sticky, slightly crusty chayen icing lending a good amount of sweetness.. Pair with a cuppa and you're ready to conquer

With caramelised violet petals sprinkled on top. Packs a pretty strong coffee punch. Love this.
