Zhong Xing Ban Mian (Bedok Interchange Hawker)

(Dry - $4.50) I don't know how to eat at bedok suddenly lol but then saw someone recommended for this stall so I decided to try their dry noodle. But then the serving size was not much tbh and also the dark sauce was quite a bit sweet for me.

the sauce is on the sweeter side rather than spicy. the soup and texture of mee hoon kuay is normal. the ikan bilis was nice though. overall, will not try again.

Small things matter and can make my day (III)- like finding out my favourite ban mian stall at Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre also does remarkable dumplings with tasty meat- chives filling in smooth skin.

Best thing I’ve ate since coming back from 3.5 months in Europe was this delicious bowl of ban mian soup. Tenderised chicken with a half cooked egg in clear chinese soup; it gets better that the flour consistency of the smooth ban mian thickens the soup to give you pleasantly warm and filling spoonfuls. I should be thankful to be Singaporean with affordable food courts easily accessible everywhere.
