“Legendary” is how Burppler Gary Lim describes this fried chicken, and we couldn’t agree more. Join the queue at 5pm for freshly fried chicken – don't worry, it moves fast! The chicken is sold by the piece (from RM3.50) and you can even request for your favourite cut. Locals always order the chicken with a side of Fries (RM2) and a dollop of chilli sauce.
Only RM9 for this generous plate of piping hot fried chicken that’s good for three. The skin really reminds me of KFC but better – less salty, more flavour. There are plenty of other options to eat here but this is a must! And so is the char kuey teow.
With egg of course!

I'm proud enough to tell you that.. I got the LAST plate before the closed! Yay! My trip here wasn't a waste and it surprised me that it closed earlier than expected.
This used to be my number one go to kuih stalls when I am craving for a traditional snack but times are bad, and you can see it by the fillings to skin ratio of this kuih. It was a little let down in terms of its size too but luckily it is still as delicious as before. One differential factor which makes me come back for it, is that theirs has pandan flavoured version. The mochi skin is soft, chewy, fragrant and delightfully sweet .(RM1.2 for a bite size ball of delight)
Amazing find today. Old school local street food food street. You can't get any more original than this. Food clockwise from top left corner: curry chee Cheong fun with Pork skin, grilled cuttlefish, fried chicken, fried radish cake. Check the food in our table!
This is a gem of a find! 😋
