KL's Best Fried Chicken
Say ‘fried chicken’ to any foodie, and they’ll point you straight to this family-style restaurant in Damansara Kim. Here, the Fried Chicken (from RM24) is dredged in buckwheat, resulting in a crispy and light-as-air skin, while still retaining its juicy meat. Burppler XingWei Cheang describes it as “clean and elegant tasting”. They say it's meant for sharing but we say handle it solo.

No stranger to the fried chicken scene is Mr Chew’s Famous Fried Chicken Ribs (RM28) that are worth getting your hands dirty for. They are so good that they converted Burppler Rueann Dass into a chicken ribs lover. “The fried chicken ribs see impeccably firm and crisp skin and tender slivers of deeply flavoured flesh.” Best paired with one of their signature Mr Chew's Takeaway G&T (RM42), a fruity concoction of guava and pink peppercorn that's served in a gorgeous takeaway box.
