[CLOSED] The Providore (TANGS at Tang Plaza)

Earl grey filled with jasmine aroma. Note that the tea leaves were only at the top cos the tea strainer was quite shallow, so let the tea steep for a longer time before pouring to get a deeper flavor.

I couldn’t finish this pot of tea so asked for extra cup for hubby, cos I was having cough & cold. They refused. Cos this pot was for 1 pax.

Light and fluffy shortcake with delicate cream. Slight sweetness offset by the tangy strawberries. A lovely dessert.

Comfortable place to rest after shopping, but I wished the chamomile tea was stronger for the price I paid.

This was quite expensive, and a little too sweet for my liking. The top was dark choc, but the cream inside was a lighter colored milk choc. Very thick, very chocolatey.

This was lukewarm so I was disappointed. Otherwise the taste was not bad.

They changed the presentation but still tasted great. Very thick very chocolatey. Nice crunchy choc bits provided a different texture. This cafe was an oasis for me to rest to battle some more during the crazy Tang’s sale.
