The ambience is bright and airy and atmosphere fresh and clean. It is comfortable and relaxing to dine here.
We begin with sharing a bowl of cold buckwheat noodle which brings much pleasure. Its cold, vinegary and light broth is refreshing and texture of noodle perfect. It is tastefully garnished with sweet pear, sour pickle radish and fresh cucumber and bits of fried ham.
My set lunch comes in two parts. The starter is delightful, comprising of glass noodle with hint of peanut, a quail egg and mushroom with sesame, and cheesy kimchi pancake.
I love short rib soup bansang. The long-broiled soup feels concentrated yet light…it is delicious. And meat is tender. The rice immerses in the soup, absorbing its full flavour. The rice goes well with the side dishes, namely the fiery kimchi, tangy radish and onion pickle, spicy squid and rich egg mayo.

The House Chungdam feels elegant yet cozy. Soft lighting, warm tones, creating a calm, modern vibe. It’s perfect for small gatherings or date nights.

We had the The House Feast (pork BBQ set) and cheese potato jeon (Korean pancake). The pork was juicy and tender, grilled to bring out its full flavor. The jeon was crisp outside, soft and cheesy inside — very comforting.

Staff were attentive and polite, making the whole experience smooth and relaxing.

A great place for quality BBQ in a stylish, comfortable setting.

The set lunch set: thinly sliced brisket soybean jjigae bansang comes with starters, rice and traditional Korean sides such as kimchi, seasoned squid. The soybean broth is so flavourful, rich umami taste and brewed to perfection. Not to mention the starters which are so yummy and addictive. Also tried the jinju cold buckwheat noodles. The noodles are so chewy and the garnish that came with it gives a well balanced and refreshing taste that will make you keep coming for more.

Very comfortable shop with good food. Pork and beef are good, especially this cheese potato jeon is a must.

The House Chungdam = Korean BBQ but make it classy. Super chill vibes with minimalist decor, no smoke, no chaos. Perfect for date night or catching up with friends without smelling like BBQ after.

Fresh, high-quality meat and grilled to perfection for you. Every bite was juicy.

Clean, calm, and delicious. Would totally go back.

If you think all Korean BBQ spots are the same, bustling, smokey, and loud, The House Chungdam will change your mind. Tucked away in a quiet corner, this place offers a completely different vibe. The atmosphere is minimalist and refined, with clean lines, soft lighting, and modern Korean decor that makes you feel like you’re dining at a boutique restaurant rather than Korean BBQ restaurant.

Meat was top quality, fresh, tender, and flavorful. The side dishes were thoughtfully plated and well-balanced, complementing the meats without overpowering them.
