Not a lot of noodles
The sauce was vinegary as people have said, it's not entirely vinegar tho but still it's not v good, it lacks depth.
Ingredients were cooked well. But the dried solefish had a lot of funk, it's hard to stomach for my best friend and it's honestly not very good, doesn't work well. And possibly they use a different kind of dried sole fish, the flavour's different from what I'm used to, more funky less savoury
Pork balls were fine, the wanton skins were too thick
It's alright, no need to travel for this, no need to queue either. If you see a queue just go to another stall.
Idk why they're even popular, seeing how this seems to be a pretty good execution and thus I think it's probably a faithful representation of the original
Cooked decently but the sauce was abysmal, lacks heat, just sour, lacks depth
My best friend refused to touch it after one piece
For a $9 portion, the quantity of their Signature Tai Wah pork Noodle was simply too much for me. The bowl had covered the Mee Pok with Livers, Minced Meat, lean meat and sole fish. On the first mouthful of the noodle, I find that the taste was rather ordinary and different from the one I had in Hong Lim.
The bowl of soup that comes with the signature pork noodle. It has 5 meatballs and 3 dumplings. Soup was flavourful but a tad too salty. Still it's delicious 😀
Order the famous BCM for your mains. The signature Tai Wai Pork noodle ($9). So much 'liao', got 5 meatballs 3 dumplings packed separately with soup. The noodles can add vinegar and it came with the old school fried dried flat fish (not sure exactly what is it called) and pork lard. All good except the noodles abit too soggy for my liking maybe cus I tabao. Next time just get the normal mix pork noodles. No need fancy.
