Deep fried meat balls with salted egg yolk wrapped inside and grains of rice wrapped on the outside.
Both the meat balls and salted egg yolk were dry and the meat didn’t taste fresh.
A plate of 5 meat balls cost $15 which is completely overpriced.
Will not order in future.
Back to stirling seafood for my partner’s favourite Yang chow fried rice (with Super wok hei ) from this hidden secret at stirling Road .
Definitely no Amuse bouche served here but the menu did amuse me 😀
The Claypot tofu , har cheong chicken, empress chicken with preserved vegetables , spinach with three types of egg are the perennial favourites.
And of course the fried rice 😊.
Supposed to be one of their signature dishes but I didn't really like the meat balls as they tasted too dry and bland to me. (Date: 14 June 2015 Sunday)
So far, I have not met anyone who doesn't like this yummy dish. 😜 (Date: 14 June 2015 Sunday)
