Shake Shack (VivoCity)

It’s my first time having the Vivocity outlet exclusive Concrete, playfully named the Viva La Vivo. The addition of strawberry syrup, frozen strawberry bits, waffle cone bits & rainbow sprinkles add a little whimsy to the thick but plain vanilla custard. The thick frozen dairy treat tastes & has an ultra thick & creamy consistency that reminds me of how good Ben & Jerrys used to be fifteen years ago before they threw their standards off a cliff. I’ve slept on The Shack’s custards for far too long, and it’s about time to get woke.

@shakeshacksg new limited time White Truffle Burger ($14.20 for the single patty, $18.10 to double the pleasure) is a lot more well balanced than the previous truffle iteration, and the Bourbon Bacon one. Even though the same deep fried onions and a rich white truffle sauce were added onto the Shack’s signature smashed patty, this burger was more moderate and was not surfeiting like its limited edition predecessors.⠀

This is mainly thanks to the sherry vinegar added into the white truffle aioli. The aioli is still absolutely aromatic with the robust scent of truffles, and the rich creamy aioli is well restrained by the sherry vinegar which has been added in small amounts. The beef & potato buns are the same signature Shake Shack goodness we’ve all come to know and love, and the Shack’s r&d department have absolutely cooked with this new White Truffle Burger, as the kids these days would say.

($9.10) I felt that their sauce was quite thick texture based and jelak for me but mild spicy marinated sauce with cheese sauce. But the cheese sauce is nt that nice tbh :") and taste slightly lower quality.

($14.20) I wanted try it out for their new burger when they opened a new outlet at sentosa. so I saw happy point app got great deal on the set meal instead of ala crate. So I legit literally travel to sentosa and then staff at sentosa told me that they don't have burger anymore so need to go back to vivocity for burger instead :") So the burger taste was mild spicy marinated sauce with cheese, chicken breast fillet and pickles. I felt that their sauce was quite thick texture based and jelak for me but they added pickles inside the burger to complement well.

Pear Lemonade ($4.50)

hmmmm i got qns for this drink but like pear + lemon is quite weird combination and also the taste was like sweet and sour aftertaste tbh.

Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger, Fries & Chocolate Shake

Second default burger order after SmokeShack 😋 this burger needs no intro - just a plain old cheeseburger, with tomato, lettuce, and Shacksauce (which makes everything bind together). Quite sinful with the oil, but don’t mind having it again when in the area (& no queue - yes, people still queue after many years haha)
