Sandwich toast from Korea has became a new trend here with this new stall located at the basement of renovated Century Square.
The filling was generous, just the bread was too crunchy that I have hard time eating. $6.50
Kimchi Prawn 🦐 Cocktail (S$7.50)
A refreshing Prawn 🦐 Cocktail, consisting of prawns 🦐, kimchi, Asian pear 🍐 batons and spring onions, served with mesclun mix, on an aromatic focaccia toast.
Available at @SeoulInASandwichSG in @CenturySquareSG
Pretty disappointed with the sandwich 🥪 which was packed with yellowed and withered vegetables. The bun was cold and not aromatic at all. Can’t taste any kimchi and spring onions. The saving grace was the crunchy pear 🍐 batons. Where’s the Seoul?
Although the outlet was one of the participating restaurants for the Singapore 🇸🇬 Restaurant Festival, the staffs were lacking of knowledge of the event. One just told me to scan the QR code, which led one to the registration page which was not right as I had already registered. This also meant I did not receive any points for my meal.

It was a mixture of chicken sausages and luncheon meat, topokki and kimchi bits. Sitting atop a bed of daikon slaw and topped with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, it had a unique taste for a sandwich but it was sooooo good! Gonna try the other flavors next time.
The closest to Isaac toast you can ever get before it lands its shores soon in Singapore, the Seoul street toast bears an uncanny resemblance with the familiar ingredients of omelette, ham and cheese sandwiched within two slices of toasted white bread. The portion might seem small but it was definitely substantial ; surprisingly filled me up for a meal. The major difference to an Isaac toast would be the omelette which’s filled with onion&cabbage, pretty much similar to a frittata whereas the latter comes with a slice of plain omelette instead. Along with a slice of chicken ham, melted cheese, the toast also came with a spread of mayonnaise, which I wasn’t exactly a fan of. Still miss the special sauce that came with Isaac toast when I had it in Seoul! Nevertheless, this was still enjoyable and a satisfying treat , which can be taken as a snack or meal, depending on your hunger and appetite. Love the crisp, crusty edges of the toast as well, which was toasted to perfection and with a lingering buttery fragrance! ✨ .

[PS: As part of the opening special, there would be a 1-for-1 promo daily in the month of June, with rotational fixed flavours on a daily basis] .

Who would have image bringing the popular Korea dish - Army Stew into a sandwich. Between the toasted ciabatta, you can find tteokbokki, chicken sausage, chicken spam, sliced cheese, daikon slaw, gochuang dressing, melted cheddar and mozzarella mix. You just need to try it to know how good it is.

Probably inspired by the isacc toast, the toasted white bread is sandwiched with onion cabbage omelette, chicken ham and sliced cheese. Bite into it and you will be surprised how wonderfully the different components come together for a hearty breakfast.
