The caramelised onions imparted some edge to the sandwich through acidity and a controlled sweetness, which tangoed elegantly with the soft piquant notes of the tonkatsu sauce. A mix of light crisp and softness from the buttery buns was the perfect finishing touch to an enjoyable sandwich.

Not quite toppling Park Bench Deli but definitely a great, and more affordable, alternative for sandwiches โ especially when PBD gets busy during lunch.
