Your standard cafe big breakfast good for sharing. Nothing to shout about but definitely value
Salmon trout, scrambled eggs, spinach and fried enoki stacked on a mound of purple rice. Not your typical cafe food but i was craving something homey and this just ticked all the boxes. The teriyaki sauce was done extremely well, the salmon was sooo flavourful and the sauce kind of tied the whole dish together by adding flavour to the otherwise plain rice. It’s not particularly indulgent or sinful like your usual cafe fare but it tasted homey and healthy.

Hai Kee Seafood is well known among tourists and locals for their affordable quality seafood dishes and I must say we were impressed. We had the Salted Egg Crabs and although we ordered the 2 small sized ones, they were very meaty. The meat itself had a natural sweetness and a very fresh bouncy texture. The highlight got to be their salted egg sauce, as it was rich, perfectly sweet and salty with a strong salted egg flavour. I'm glad that it is not the grainy kind!
The Sambal Sweet Potato Leaves were also cooked well, as it wasn't overcooked and the Sambal was very fragrant without being too spicy. Loved the Fried Rice too, as the rice wasn't clumpy and had a significant wok hei flavour.
The total bill was affordable at RM118. The only downside is that there were quite a few touters, which may affect your dining experience. If you don't mind then this is one good zichar to go for 😍
A much quieter Japanese restaurant at Taman Sri Tebrau, along the business business main street.
Serving authentic Japanese cuisine here. Their set item like this one is really good for someone who want something big to enjoy.
Comes with the stir fried pork pieces cooked with egg on hot plate. Unfortunately they don’t light it up to make it warm. But I don’t see it necessarily and the hot plate still warm and you can enjoy eating without too hot.
The set also comes with mentaiko salmon sushi and prawn tempura. Serving with a big bowl of Chawanmushi and miso soup.
You definitely be very full after finish all of them and satisfying meal.
Finally got here in time as I was on staycay. This is another variety of their durian fritters. Shiok sia. But I heard they've moved!

The packaging might be fancy but the content didn't stun too much. The ratio could have been better, not sweet enough, but the skin was alright(it's the soft kind)
