the pleasure of trying these dishes recently, and they were absolutely delightful!
1. Steak with Fries and Salad
The steak was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and seasoned simply with just the right amount of salt to let the meat’s natural flavors shine. Paired with crispy golden fries and a refreshing side of greens, this dish struck the perfect balance between indulgence and freshness.
2. Creamy Shrimp Pasta
The pasta had a rich, creamy sauce with a hint of sweetness that complemented the succulent shrimp beautifully. The texture of the pasta was just right, and the sprinkle of herbs and Parmesan elevated the dish further. Comfort food at its finest!
3. Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Nuts
These Brussels sprouts were a revelation. Charred to perfection, they had a smoky flavor and a slight crunch that paired wonderfully with the toasted nuts sprinkled on top. The combination of textures and the nutty aroma made this side dish a standout.
Each dish had its own unique charm, and together, they created a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a mix of hearty and sophisticated flavors!
Excellent food and service here. Really enjoyed the fried calamari with a special mala aioli sauce. Will return for the good drink deals and food!
Tried the ribeye steak and was cooked perfectly! The sauce went very well with the steak by adding layers of flavours to the steak. The ambience is nice as well and most importantly it is quite central. The fried calamari along with chilli oil was such a unique but good combination! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a decently fancy restaurant in the CBD area!
Dined there on a Monday evening, the restaurant had a quiet and pleasant ambience:) Staff was really friendly and attentive, shared recommendations on what to order and refilled our water whenever we finished; thank you to Peter and Jasmine.
Food was great too! The brussels sprouts came with a sweet sauce and was paired with fragrant puffed rice. Overall an aromatic dish. Duck confit was tender and had crispy skin, portion was generous, sweet potato mash was thick and creamy with edamame and chickpea on the side. Baked alaksa was a delightful meringue with berries and hidden ice-cream. Would visit again to try the other things on the menu!
Had the wagyu burger with perfect medium rare doneness, with fries and fried brussels sprouts that were crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside! The duck confit was also delicious.
Always wanted to try Market Bistro for the longest time because it’s so near my office and the menu always intrigued me! I love the communal dining concept. Definitely suitable for both date nights and group settings, especially for dinner with your colleagues after a long day at work!
Had the Fried Baby Squid, Fried Camembert Cheese, Tiger Prawn Bisque, Grass Fed Ribeye and their Chocolate Brownie! Everything was absolutely delicious! My must-try are the Fried Baby Squid, Tiger Prawn Bisque, Grass Fed Ribeye and Chocolate Brownie! Will definitely be back 🤩
