The Lotus Kitchen concept takes vegetarian dishes to new heights with natural premium ingredients.
What’s interesting here is the use of premium ingredients any non-vegetarian may not have heard before.
These ingredients, which are all natural, include lion’s mane mushrooms, agaricus blazei mushroom, tian ma, cordyceps flower, burdock and sugarcane sprout from Taiwan. .

My first time trying the food at Lotus Kitchen and I was impressed. It tastes clean, healthy, yet flavourful.
🔸
For CNY, they have created a line-up of Set Menus catering for 4 to 10 persons, some including this Pen Cai and Yu Sheng. There are several healthy creations, such as a homemade vegetarian fish with fruit salad (my fav dish of the evening), longevity noodles (wait for my post on this), and this Golden Bowl of Fortune Pen Cai which was brimming with over 22 wholesome ingredients.
🔸
I liked how this Pen Cai was lovingly prepared with many different cooking processes, containing many premium vegetarian ingredients. Wholesome and flavorful, I could go meatfree for a day if this is what I'm having.

Taken during a tasting.
Eating healthy, eating vegetarian. This time, we went to lotus kitchen at Chinatown Point to try out this vegetarian restaurant.
Ordered the following:
1) xo seafood fried rice : $12.80
2) mushroom hot stone pot : $18.80
3) homemade spicy tofu: $18.80
4) Lion mane mushroom with spinach: $18.80
Overall the food was so-so, the price is pretty expensive. Expensive for vegetarian.
3.5 munchies: With over 50 contemporary vegetarian dishes that are prepared using only natural and premium ingredients to choose from, my top pick goes to the Braised Mushroom. Served in a hot stone pot, it features the meaty lion’s mane mushroom and earthy, smoky shiitake. Besides the stir-frying of crunchy bamboo shoots with chilli and ginger, the sweet and fragrant addition of basil leaves also greatly enhanced the savoury braised sauce. May I have a bowl of brown rice to go with these juicy mushrooms, please? #Burpproved
This was a hosted meal by Lotus Kitchen; many thanks to Brand Cellar for the invitation!

This Braised Mushroom in Hot Pot ($18.80) comes with lion's mane mushroom, shitake mushroom and bamboo shoots is spiked with dried chillies for heat, and cleverly given a tantalising aroma from basil leaves sizzling at bottom of the pot. #FindNewFood #MediaTasting
