Hello there, welcome to your backyard café. It’s cozy, it smells of great food and freshly ground coffee. You must have with you everyone and anyone who matters to you for maximum enjoyment. When Lola’s Café was first conceptualized, there was one binding thought that was not to be compromised; Lola’s was going to be a playful and casual environment where you could get honest, unpretentious comfort fare in the company of great friends. We insist to serve only the food & drinks made with great love because food served from the heart is the most delicious.

Fusion Menu

Benedict (poached egg with creamy cheese) on in-house crab cake (texture a little like hash brown but more seafood creamy taste) on sour dough. Sided with some salad veg. $20. Good creamy egg as breakfast.

Should be better in terms of flavour. Ordered this dish because of good reviews. However, when taking a bite, the taste of food was overpowering. Had to dabble with egg to balance out the flavour of pulled pork. To put it simply, it was salty. Cost: $20

pork collar barley risotto ($20++) - 3/5 💗
• fried vege was super yummy & sauce was
flavourful
• didn't really like the texture of the risotto (bec they use actual barley grains which didn't actl click for
me when ordering so that was my fault). however my friend q enjoyed it!
• found the pork collar a tad dry & tough. could use a little fats but you would like it if you're a fan of leaner cuts!

nachos tater tots ($12++) - 3/5 💗
• not soggy but wasn't super crispy
• generous serving of sauce & tater tots
• abit jelak after awhile
• nothing new

honey paprika wings ($13++) - 4/5 💗
• nicely fried & crispy
• honey was a great combi to the savoury dish. would have loved to have a honey dip on the side too!
• v generous portion, possible to split among 3-4 pax

lychee rosewater cake ($7.50++) - 4/5 💗
• sponge was a tad dense with a strong rose flavour
• i didn't fancy it too much because of the rose flavour & cream but my friend thought it was pretty yummy
• not too sweet! & had some refreshing bits of lychee flesh/pulp between the cake layers

overall bill $63 after ++; most dishes were abit of a miss for me this round, esp for the price.

hopefully i'd pick better next visit! 🎀

this looked amazing i was vv excited to dig in! it had chunks of salmon, clams, and 3 prawns in a creamy stew which tasted incredible w the sourdough. the portion was huge too! my only gripe is that it tasted quite one-dimensional so it got kinda boring after a while. still a p satisfying meal though, i think would be much better if i had shared with someone else

my friends had the bacon & mushroom truffle cream linguine and beef cheeks with barley risotto

i rly wanna come back for brunch one day to try their shakshuka!! they have a 1h dining limit though so might not be the best place to chill esp if you’re coming during peak hours

Iced honey chamomile was very refreshing and light with a hint of lemongrass
