Brioche rolls for $10!!!!???? Humpback can just take my money because this was so good. This came freshly baked out of the oven - warm, fluffy, and soft. With that slight crisp texture to give that light crunch. The kombu butter was savoury, and the layers to the flavour when smothered on the bread was to die for. Zero regrets choosing this carb loaded appetiser to start the meal - and this is coming from someone who isn’t the slightest fan of bread.

Not sure if they still have this on the menu but the Curry Sando was pretty decent. I liked the soft fluffy texture of the Hokkaido milk bun that’s toasted just right. There was a nice curry spread, though it seemed slightly sweet and tangy also. Topped up for tater tots and it was worth it. Pretty decent coffee here too! Going there on a weekend would definitely mean some crowd and noise.

Ashamed to say that prior to this experience, I’ve only had Three Buns via delivery, and it has always been a delightful experience despite having it after it arrives. However, it seems like the burgers delivered have a higher standard than what I had recently dining in at the Quayside branch. The cheeky chic had a confusing combination of sauces - bbq ketchup and miso mayo, which the bbq ketchup obviously overpowered. The burger was slathered with cold coleslaw, which resulted in the burger being at a very odd temperature when consumed. To top it off, the coleslaw was so watery, which kept dripping out and made the whole bun soggy. Hoping that it was just a bad day for Three Buns but I doubt I’ll give up on them just yet, will go for my usual Baby Huey next time!

So good that I just want to make this at home so I can have it everyday🥺 super cheesy goodness that’s worthy of a cheese pull shot but I messed up🫣 but that also means that they really did not scrimp on the mozzarella. Cheesy decadence aside, Bee Cheng Hiang has very successfully placed 2 of their best products together - bakkwa and pork floss. I loved how the floss had that slight sweetness to it on the toast, and the bakkwa have that nice textured ingredient to it. A really yummy snack!!

Miso cod fish was well fried with a nice umami hint to it. Brioche bun was nicely toasted, though not as fluffy and soft as desired. The truffle fries were just decent. Overall, quite a nice cafe to hang out with friends considering it’s aesthetic interior.

More like egg mayo croissant with hints of truffle that weren’t very apparent. Croissant was flaky and decent enough, though it was overall nothing mind blowing. A generous portion of filling though!

Toasted sourdough was soft and fluffy, giving a nice chew with every bite. But I loved the flavours which came through with all the ingredients combined. A medley of wonderfully sautéed mushrooms, honey baked ham, garlic Mayo, with three generous cheeses - American cheese, cheddar, and mozzarella slapped in between two slices to make a pretty huge sandwich. Delicious and convenient, which no wonder even people working around would patronise!

Garlic bread was served hot and fresh with a good amount of spread that was slightly creamy, buttery, and light in garlic flavour. I however, would have appreciated a stronger garlic flavour here. It was still pretty glorious in terms of portion and aesthetics but if you want a more decadent choice go for the one with cheese.

Custard Cream Bun
Super soft and fluffy bun with very lightly whipped custard cream. Not much of an intense flavour going on here but if you like mild creamy flavours and bread this might be a good option for you.

Matcha Cream Bun
Similar to the custard cream bun, texture of the bun here was immaculately soft and fluffy. The matcha cream filling was light, and I personally would have appreciated a much stronger flavour when it comes to my matcha.

I love shake shack’s beef patty enough to try something a little jazzed up. The sambal mayo burger comprises of their juicy grilled patty, cheese, crispy shallots, fried egg, and sambal mayo slapped between two fluffy well buttered buns. A well executed combination, especially because of the limited edition sambal mayo sauce which gave a mildly spicy creamy complement to everything. With this lasting only until 15 August on the menu, it’s definitely worth a try!

Preferred this over the biggie croque because it personally felt more unique and interesting. I absolutely loved the potato bun. It had a soft and fluffy texture, yet a very nice chewy consistency. The components of the sandwich came very well together — crispy spam, cheese, and fried egg, for a burst of savouriness. The hot mayo injected a bit of spice into this which really helped in elevating the overall flavour.

Pre-ordered Korio just so I could double confirm my hands on these glorious looking sandwiches. The Biggie Croque attracted me on first sight, whilst being the most expensive. The country sourdough was adequately toasty and fluffy, surprisingly nothing too heavy. Personally, I enjoyed this despite not being extremely mindblowm by it. The proportions were just right — cheesiness, sauciness, and savouriness. The flavours of the caramelised onions came out very strongly too. Overall a decent option, though I admit this is indeed higher on the price point.
