What to expect: soft, slow-cooked shredded pork cheek pillowing on ribbons of al dente linguine, carpeted over spiced tomato sauce and a shower of Parmesan. Absolutely loved this dish.
I was utterly transfixed by the succulent prawns, lightly scorched on the grill and bursting with charred fragrance. These 5 bad boys rested like the crowning glory on ribbons of al dente linguine, soaked in a prawn mee-like blend of prawn bisque and chilli oil sauce, with just a tincture of crustacean flavour. This is a dish which weds culture and cookery impeccably by fusing Japanese, Italian, and Singaporean. Canβt say that Iβm impressed by sluggish service and languid demeanour of their staff though.

π TRY IT!!!
Hands down one of the best! Every bite was a blessing. This prawn bisque sauce was a true showstopper: it might look watery, but it cut no corners with its seductively deep and aromatic crustacean flavour. The seared scallops and tiger prawns were fleshy and scrumptious. Ambience was also a plus: quiet and comfortable seating taken up a notch by the swanky decor. There is not a shred of criticism I can muster.

π Must try
Taglierini (nope, not mee pok) is the slender, hand-made and egg-based progeny of Italian tagliatelle. There just wasnβt enough sauce to go around in this dish. Iβm unimpressed by this dry, clumpy mess. Canβt say Iβm not disappointed given that their chef hails from Melbourne β where I had some of the best grubs in my life.

π For the inquisitive: try once.
The stroganoff was wonderful β herbaceous, velvety and creamy, but not sickeningly so. We tasted white wine (my favourite sauce base!) and paprika. Pasta was generously coated in sauce, served with a dollop of smetana and bedecked with tender, medium-rare beef strips. Itβs perfect for you if youβre into cream-based pastas but hate it when chefs take the richness of the cream too far.

All were gr8 but the risotto was a bit dull and could certainly do with more flavour π Thanks Eatigo for the 50% discount!!!
