The highlight was the chicken thigh and curried cauliflower. Tender, flavourful, well charred and seasoned.
I would eat this over and over. Really quaint place to have a meal. Was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of quinoa as most places do not serve up a decent amount.
Fairly priced.

They pretty much nailed it on every aspect. The tenderness of the chicken breast could be improved tho. Mushrooms are well seasoned and I can taste some cumin in that quinoa. A wholesome and flavourful bowl. Good to note that the portion's a tad small. Will be going back to try the rest of the menu!

Ramen was mediocre tbh...
Go for the beef. Pink in tenderness. Salmon doesn't suit the hebi chilli, better off in a poke bowl :)
Went for the 4$ upgrade.

Had the 2 recommended items and while they are all pretty good, the grain bowl had me wanting more. A taste reminiscent of Mediterranean food and makes me miss exchange days in Europe ^^

This place will convince you to ditch that no-carb diet with its amazing grain bowls! Take your pick from soba noodles, to wild rice and a 3-grain mix, and top it with a meat from the selection. The toppings made me spoilt for choice, though I don't quite understand why they have to split the selection into 4 categories (just makes things more difficult!). But everything we chose was delicious, from the carrot & herb salad, sautéed cherry tomatoes, spiced cashews (the best!!!), zucchini & herb salad, onsen egg and the list goes on. I'll be back, definitely!

Located just below the Golden Shoe hawker centre lies a diner that sells an excellent Spanish rice bowl. For $16.50, you get to create your own bowl which I got the vegetable paella, beef striploin, roasted sweet carrots, bell peppers, asparagus, almond toppings and a truffle hummus dip. A fast food that gets you to eat healthily.

Got the Tuna Tataki Salad (1L; $16) & Vegan Zoodlepad Thai (750ml; $12) to share!

#1. TUNA TATAKI SALAD 🍣
Really like the Tuna Tataki w soy & mirin dressing. Generous amount of tuna slices, bonito flakes & edamame. 💚 Japanese cucumbers added a nice crunch to the salad. Overall components shook well in the jar (doubles as a good arm workout!) Serving is pretty big & the 1L would be good for 2 pax. 👯

#2. VEGAN ZOODLEPAD THAI 🍃
As compared to the tuna, this was less impressive. The cashew & nut flavors in this jar was quite dominant & a tad overpowering. Good for nut lovers! 🌰 Components didn't shake well, probably due to the more viscous sesame dressing. Being a Thai salad, I was expecting more citrus flavors to help lift the salad. I wouldn't be able to see myself finishing a whole portion of this as a full meal but would do really well as a sharing portion! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

My go-to for cheap, good, clean meals.
Buckwheat waffles as a treat to go along with healthy chicken breast, broccoli and sous vide egg.
Ice queen 's chicken breast is exceptionally tender. I'd say it's much tender, but less seasoned as compared to omnivore's. And definitely way ahead of daily cut 's league.

Still my fav Poké bowl around, Aloha Poké's simple range of fresh seafood and refreshing sides just makes for a satisfying, guilt-free meal. 😛

The medium size is just right for me (and I'm a pretty big eater too), letting you choose two of their seafoods (personally I always go for the spicy & original salmon🐟).

I'm still quite undecided on what's the best way to attack these creations though... Should I daintily pick the parts, mix-n-matching different spoonfuls of ingredients or just go crazy and mix up the entire bowl! 🙊

Highly recommended! Best to mix it all up a lil together with the miso marinated asparagus and edamame. Boosts up the overall flavour tremendously. Pickled cucumbers add a zesty kick and crunch. Not forgetting the oozy goodness from the onsen egg that wraps up the entire ninja bowl experience. Haha.

Small - $7.90 (1 main, 1 side, 2 toppings)
Interesting take on the ever raving build your own meals.
Whiffle - basically an egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms and cheese, made into a waffle.
Very affordable in comparison with competitors such as the daily cut and omnivore.
[+] they serve japanese sweet potatoes
[+] whiffle
[+] cheap & good
[–] longer waiting time
[–] no seating (takeaway only)

Chose soba salad as my base and got chicken for the protein option. Toppings include mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, broccoli, spiced cashew and an onsen egg. No choice for dressing unlike grain traders. Hearty bowl! But unfortunately the base was a little wet due to the dressing that comes with the soba salad
