So, we had a #burppletastemakers tasting on-board Stewords Riverboat, a non-motorized riverboat which was built in 1991 & owned by A&W previously. BizNaz Resources International P/L took over Stewords Riverboat in 1998 & after some facelift, Santa Fe Tex-Mex Grill started its operations at the Main Deck of the boat in 2001.
I love this not only because it's pink, but also because the delicate, rose-infused pudding in a moat of tangy rhubarb coulis is such a treat with earthy sesame crumble and edible flowers.
I just discovered this wonderful dessert at the unique Teng Bespoke, a Japanese Vegetarian restaurant in Sunshine Plaza. It's quite clever really - combining matcha ice-cream with green chendol, red bean and whipped cream. Love how the flavours work so deliciously together!
I'm sure you'll agree with me that biting into a piping hot curry puff that was transformed from dough to glorious gold mere minutes ago, is one of the best things in life. Owned by an ex-chef of Hilton Hotel, the curry puffs here certainly live up to the shop's name - "Oven Marvel". The pastry has the optimal light yet buttery flakiness, forming a match made in heaven with the fragrant, spicy-with-a-hint-of-sweetness curried chicken and potato filling. As every component of the curry puff is made from scratch on the premises, this is one chef who clearly doesn't compromise on freshness.
