For our other bowl, we decided to pick our own combi: Mujadara (which is lentil rice), Falafel, Hummus, Babaganoush, Croutons, Feta Cheese, Lebanese Green Olives, Tahini m, Pomegranate Dressing. Plus point that we only realised after eating that everything in this bowl is vegetarian, and in fact, the whole menu is, except for the lamb/beef/chicken shawarma that you can pick as your protein apart from falafel. We preferred their preset bowl a lot more than our own picks as it turned out a little more flat than we’d like - but that’s on us 😂

Only other thing for me were that their dips were a little too strong/salty. Considering all the flavours that were alr going on, it could get a tad bit overwhelming. Otherwise, we enjoyed it a lot. More details on their IG @lebanist. Thank you @lebanist for sharing with me this meal! ✨

MHaven’t had much Lebanese food before, but happy we got to try with Lebanist! They are a cloud kitchen that just opened doors in Orchard.

This Singapore Sling is one of the bowls they specially curated for the local palate. I thought it serves as a very good intro to Lebanese food with its likable medley of flavours. What you get in it: Raisin Saffron Quinoa, Chicken Shawarma, Garlic Spinach, Moutabel, Pomegranate Seeds, Cashew Nuts, Fried Onions, Harissa, Garlic Sauce (Toum).

I’m not a fan of fried onions but they do theirs well and gave a generous heap of them. Chicken shawarma was flavourful and we especially appreciated the pops of sweetness from the raisins and pomegranate seeds. If you’re building your own bowl, definitely recommend to consider these, or just go for their preset bowls! More details on their IG @lebanist.

Chef's Choice 👨🏻‍🍳 ($16): Saffron quinoa with raisins, beef shawarma 🐄, hummus, black olives, croutons, feta cheese, harissa, vinaigrette dressing. The fluffy long-grain rice reminds me of Indian biryani! 🤭

Singapore Sling 🇸🇬 ($15): Ouzi rice, chicken shawarma 🐔, garlic spinach, moutabel, pomegranate seeds, cashew nuts, fried onions, harissa, garlic sauce (toum). My favourite of their 3 signature bowls 💗 as the fried onions made it very aromatic!

Green Bowl 💚 ($15): Mujadara (lentil rice), falafel, babaganoush, hummus, pomegranate seeds, cashew nuts, Lebanese green olives, harissa, tahini. A meatless yet hearty option! 😋
