[CLOSED] Hippopotamus Restaurant Grill

The ribeye is delicious and well seasoned, while the hanger steak was the winner. Intensely flavorful, tender and real juicy, it's a must try. But the ultimate (and unexpected) star of the meal is definitely the BBQ ribs! There is so much flavor packed into these fall off the bone tender ribs that is really juicy, and combined with the delightful bbq sauce, it's a definite must eat at this place.

A friend suggested this place for dinner, and being the usual me I ended up ordering Grilled Chicken at a steakhouse. There is a choice to opt for two sides out of three available, and a sauce from a few as well. Chicken was reasonably tender but laid closer on the edge of being dry, though the spices did manage to heat things up a little; probably not too good for people who can't accept moderate spiciness. Opted for Potato Gratin and Grilled Vegetables; Potato Gratin was creamy but lacked cheese and potatoes could have been slightly softer, while the vegetables seemed a tad crunchy as though not grilled for long enough. Mushroom sauce seemed to be a Black Pepper sauce with mushrooms inside. All in all it's pretty decent for dinner, but not really worth the buck you are paying for somehow.

Came here to use the voucher that I won from @sethcurls food blog. 300g ribeye #steak, done medium-rare. I just can't be demure in front of steak. 😂😂Excuse me while I devour this! 😂

What's a bros night without the ultimate man food? The Hanger Steak here boasts an unbelievable chockful of flavor and we swear by it.

The blood frm the steak looks a little scary here but I love my steak medium rare.. Yummy! ;)
