The 2 pax set comes with the paper-wrapped fish, 2 drinks, 2 bowls of rice, and a vege platter. We chose the river fish in pickled peppers sauce. Supposed to be mid spicy but it was still pretty spicy. Fish was meaty and the staff will come over to unwrap the fish after the timer rings, so you'll get perfectly cooked fish. We added on extra items midway through so we had to turn up the heat longer, making the fish not-yet-eaten overcooked, so do take note to order at the start. Overall, $60 for 3 pax to share, pretty exp but worth the experience.
Non-spicy version; fish is very fresh, firm & meaty with some muddy taste (normal for freshwater fish); love that the fish meat maintain its soft bite despite cooking in low heat for quite some time; soup is palatable & light with well-balanced herbal taste (taste may be slightly mild for people who love strong herbal taste soup); with few pieces of crunchy black fungus; soup is refillable, with no MSG; well-executed dish worth a try..
Hand shredded chicken tossed with leeks, chilli, peppercorns, chilli oil, etc.; meat is well-infused with mala taste; mild spicy but strong numbing sensation; some bones inside; served chill..
Pickled radish slices in special soy sauce, garlic & chilli; crunchy with strong garlic taste, not salty or spicy, served chill..
5 skewers each with a piece of fish fillet with bones; marinated with various spices, then deep-fried to crispy; meat is mildly dry & bones can be eaten together; unique dish good to try..
Starch jelly strips are thin & and soft, drizzled with similar chilli sauce with addition of vinegar; appetizing with some numbing sensation..
