Seah Im has become a hive for nasi ayam. This stall, the chicken and the crisps were ordinary. The rice was tasty but also spicy, with the chilli sauce even spicier.

Nasi goreng fried with Tom yam paste. With a solid whole leg of freshly fried chicken.

Portion of rice is quite filling.

Chicken was hot and crispy, just our of the fryer.

There's only a hint of the tom yam on the nasi goreng, read that it's better to have the Tom yam variation with their Maggie goreng instead, will do that next time.

Very popular, alot of people waiting for their food here, so expect a significant waiting time, I got mine in 10 mins, on a weekend lunch time.

Sedappp~ nicely seasoned tom yum maggie, stir fried in their own homemade tom yum sauce. The Chicken may tastes bland on its own but when you pair it with the maggie it balances out.

After I ordered, the turnout of the mee goreng surprised me - it wasn't what I had expected - the reddish Mee goreng that we're often used to. It was just yellow noodles tossed in tom yam sauce, which was honestly quite disappointing. However when she started chopping the chicken leg that she freshly took out and put on my plate of Mee goreng, I was pleasantly surprised cos I wasn't expecting the chicken to come along.

While the Mee goreng was disappointing, the chicken leg saved the entire dish. The chicken was really tender as the meat could easily be pulled out from the bones cleanly, and the flavour of the marination wasn't too salty. I usually skip the chicken skin but this was goooood. Though it wasn't crispy but it was flavourful. Thumbs up for the chix hehe 👍🏽

If you've ever wondered what the lunchtime crowds at this stall are queing for, this is it — Farasha's Nasi Goreng Ayam ($5.50). The big and meaty fried chicken drumstick sports what Tastemaker Jason Wong describes to be "crackling crispy skin", and is served atop a pillow of fragrant fried rice. If you're not too worried about breaking a sweat, ladle on the fiery sambal pedas chilli on the side — spicy but so addictive. This is hearty eating at its finest, and well worth the queue. Alternatively, take Tastemaker Jason's cue and swing by for dinner, when the waiting time is a lot more manageable.
