[CLOSED] Crab in Da Bag

Used the burpple 1 for 1 to redeem the clams and got 1 more bag of Sri Lankan crabs. For the crabs, we got the Ultimate Curry which was nice but isn't something we are used to if you are a fan of Black Pepper and Chilli crabs. Love the Caboodle mix and Louisiana Garlic Butter for the clams though. Quite pricey even with the 1 for 1.

Gave up trying to take a glamorous shot here because it's going to get messy anyway. The captain's boil comes with Sri Lankan crab, tiger prawns, Venus clams, Loligo squids, bratwurst sausages, corn on the cob, potato and onion all boiled till cooked and served with three dipping sauces - lemon garlic butter, Thai green chilli and regular red chilli. However, I wouldn't recommend this dish because the seafood weren't fresh enough to be tasty on their own - they were really plain and needed the help of the dips. Would get the seasoned seafood next time!

Pardon the bad photo, but each bag of pasta has more seafood than it looks! While the linguine isn't al-dente, they're sauteed in a tasty sweet & sour brown sauce that's absolutely fragrant once the staff cut open the bag. The tiger prawns and venus clams were fairly fresh, but the sauce really took the show 👍

Forget the cutlery and get your hands dirty for seafood piled high on the table. The Venus Clams ($21), Tiger Prawns ($26) and Boston Mussels ($25) are all great options — 1-for-1, fresh and guaranteed to be a hit with the kids when doused in luscious butter sauce. For a more balanced meal to feed the kids, get the garlicky Mum's Pasta ($16) that's also served in a bag with clams!

You're in for a lot of fun digging into the fat, juicy tiger prawns, Boston mussels and venus clams. Go for the Caboodle Mix, a garlic butter sauce with local and Louisiana herbs and spices — lots of oomph! The seafood's great with a side of their Spiced Rice ($2), especially to soak up leftover sauce!

There were only three of us so we could only utilise one Beyond deal (used it for the prawns instead of two plates of pasta), but we still wanted to try the recommended Mum’s Pasta (U.P. $16). Opted for the set lunch option, which came with a drink, salad, fries and the Love Boat (honeydew with jelly).

Not the biggest fan of the sweet and sour brown sauce, so we ended up mixing it with the leftover Caboodle Mix sauce.
