The Chicken (RM45) is a strong contender, balancing sweet and savoury flavours with its orange chipotle marinade, along with the punch of a smoky finish. When glazing over the menu, don't let the prices stop you from ordering the Lamb Shoulder (RM85) — remember, you are sharing this. We say this because the divine dish is a must-order, boasting meat that will fall right off upon the slightest touch of your knife. If birthday celebrations are in order, book a table at Classic Rebel. The quaint decor makes for a beautiful backdrop in pictures and the otherwise quiet restaurant will have no qualms about welcoming your happy albeit noisy group of friends. Start off with the great Guacamole (RM18) with tortilla chips and once that's wiped out —which won't take long— shift your focus to the Chicken (RM45), crisply roasted with an orange chipotle marinade. The restaurant's niche is in serving shareables, so you can try a little bit of everything! At least, that's what we remind ourselves when we also want to order the Burnt Cauliflower (RM15) on top of everything else. An array of yummy cakes sit in the refrigerated display, so take your pick to complete the birthday dinner!

Daring diners to be 'rebels' and to share their food, Classic Rebels presents thoughtful, tasty small plates alongside well-executed mains. Be sure to share the addictive Guacomole (RM18). Served with corn chips, the creamy dip gives a wonderfully spicy punch at the end. We also recommend the sweet Burnt Leek (RM25) with succulent prawns, steeped in yummy seaweed butter. Continue the winning streak with a tender roast Lamb Shoulder (RM85 for 500g). The restaurant opens from dinner till late so stay on for a cup of coffee over long conversations.
